Here in Indiana we say shelling corn. With all that green stuff in the barn yard, MNMF could probably keep a good mechanic like Leg Arms pretty busy.

Picking , combining , shelling , grinding , and cutting corn are all very separate tasks we use to refer to harvesting corn. As we cut it whole stall n chop it at the silo for silage. Pick ear corn for shelling later. Combining would be shelled corn. Also grind ear corn for high moisture at silo as well.

That video was oneof the funniest you have ever made..Yes i call combining corn picking corn . I'm 71 years young, thats what we called the harvest in the late 50's and 60's .Iv'e even husked or picked corn by hand.My Grand father picked all his corn by hand.stared farming for himself in 1918 oh by the do you have a galon of wheat I could buy. I'd like to bake some bread.'

Very funny with the competent operator detection in the Case machine. We have Deere combines - three of 'em. The S-series has a unique automation feature - exhaust system lubrication for peak performance. The center pump in the pump stack in back of the hydro pump splits its case and blows oil all over both turbochargers and the muffler. It's a totally automatic exhaust system lubrication feature that no other color of combine has. Don't ask me how I know.

Our local dealers is 20 miles away but livin in the heart of South Dakota east river and the dealer is John deer and our Case and New Holland dealer is 30 to 35 miles away so we go to the Case and New Holland dealer. True story
