That's why Chanwoo get to debuted cause B.I is the one who lead him. He's a strict leader and thats is they need a leader like him. Stop saying that he is harsh. He is just a strict leader when it's come to practice and be perfect. He doesn't wnt to look very nice to the newbies cause he doesnt want them to feel they are good enough. He just say what he feel. Evntho he's strict, the members love him. Without him, they cant be prfct.Shout out to B.I!!
BI is a bully 😖 He bullied Chanwoo! He bullied Chanwoo just like my oldest brother did to me 😖 Told me to do this and that. But when someone else bullied me, my brother will be in the front line to punch them. 😏 That’s what brother does. So.. still saying Hanbin is evil and harsh? He does things what brother usually does. 😒 no big deal. When Chanwoo got complimented, Hanbin smiled like a proud brother. He even laughed at every jokes Chanwoo said. 😒
When B.I said "I'll do everything to protect my team" 😭that was overwhelming... Please don't leave ikon hanbin you are the reason why all of your dreams together came through
myhe it still right , who know right?😂 Mybe junhoe call Bi at the night and recommending him some song before sleep for lullaby 😂😂😂 aigoo my junbin heart❤️
YG had to make it 7 members bcs he knew the original 6 will get voted bcs they're already famous through WIN. I think this is just a means used for advertising them before their actual debut, while also gaining money through the online votings. YG IS DAMN BRILLIANT.
+Ryu Shania he did it with bigbang gd and taeyang were already fixed members but he chose between the others i think it's a way to make them work harder
B.I is actually so cool, he said that the original 6 members will debute bc he's going to take care of it, and they did, honestly nothing but respect for my president
if you watch their group dances, i think he give the other three more highlight, to make sure that they'll shine and that the audience would see it. like in their final performance, he gave Donghyuk the spotlight for almost a solo dance number, the spotlight is on him
Some people say Hanbin is too harsh, but the result can't lie... Its always damn good. And when he is leading he is not shining alone but other member always shining too.
I like how BI's style of leadership is like YG and GD. He doesnt like to sugar coat things. Some may say "aww he's too harsh" but in the end we know that he delivers the outcome is great. Ikon, even if they didnt debut yet people are noticing their skills and talents. A great leader is a foundation for a great group. YG doesnt need a sloppy sweet leader but rather a leader that continuously seeks for growth and improvement.
I know right, they've been through so much already, people should expect HANBIN to be more hard on them since he wants to debut so bad. As well as the other members
YG Leaders are the best. (CL and GD) always do their best be a great leader even risking their lives. I always thought that YG gives some special treatment to the leaders(and not a good treatment)
B.I, Bobby and Jinhwan is such a perfect combination. B.I is a great and straightforward leader, Bobby is the sweetest one and Jinhwan is the middle of both characters. I am melted at Bobby's kindness ❤️
I wanna say this in episode 1. But I couldn't find the right words. In episode 1, Hanbin clearly didn't like them, but Bobby welcomed them. Jinan in the middle said the right words represented how team felt.
B.I keep everything secret, bobby is very open and warm but jinhwan put both b.i and bobby (also the group) feelings in a mature and proper way. Thats why jinan is also the pillar, he is the bridge.
'Without all the six members of the team, I can't do it' -Hanbin It hurts to see people shading and not appreciating BI as the leader. People, YG said himself that YG artists really like BI because he has a great leadership skill. Let's not pressure him to like the newbies easily. It's not easy for them. BI can pretend but he didn't because he is sincere for his concern with his team. He makes it his responsibility to help them and debut altogether. And you can see that when in practice, he treats them fairly. They all get scolded. Winners almost experienced it.
Got dragged into the fandom recently because of Love Scenario. I have also seen some articles saying that Chanwoo cried after being scolded by Hanbin ( now I understand why Hanbin is strict but I dont hate him for that) As a newbie in this fandom I have a lot of questions going on through my mind. I dont understand why some people are throwing hate to iKON calling them flop group during their bling bling era. To honest I havent seen any kpop group who undergo 2 survival programs in order to debut I love iKON so much 😭 they deserve all the love in this world
yes!! I felt so bad for him.... like the awkwardness is unbearable for me >< just look at him just standing there at 2:09-2:40 :( they don't have phones either and he's new to everyone so AHHH!!! >< awkward! he's super adorable though!
it really hurts me to see people misunderstand B.I and call his ignorant and mean to the newbies. I believe he really wants them to grow and become better and the best way to do it is to be tough on them. B.I is also under a lot of stress because he is the leader and wants them all to do well. Honestly, if B.I wasn't so strict-the team wouldn't be as good as they are today. He is a great leader and it's sad not everyone can see that....
I recently became a fan of IKON while watching IKON TV . wow they went through so much and after all the hardships I"m happy to see where they are now. And I really laughed when ChanWoo just joined the team and everything was awkward between them and look at ChanWoo now :p he is the evil maknae :p :p
Me too become iKONIC because of iKON TV 2 weeks ago... And up till now cant decide who to bias they are unique ,adorable funny creatures they compliment each in the group😍(^^)💪😘
I pity chanwoo, but that's hanbin's leadership. I want to hug chanwoo when hanbin told him "I don't what to say to you, Chanwoo". I mean, he had to handle those words alone.
One thing that mix & match is different from win is that it brings out b.i.'s producer's skill... it's so.witty if yg to split them into 3 grps led by jinhwan, bobby & b.i. but b.i brings out the best in each member.. junhoe's voice was beautiful in mercy and i slowly begin to recognise dong hyuk's sweet voice wheb he's teamed in 'let it go'.. great work to all but hats off to b.i.
I know Hanbin reallyyy really want the best for his team but poor Chanwoo, it’s okay Chanwoo ahh Hanbin really really want the best out of you and even until now his strictness shape you into a very successful maknae, fighting!
Ngoc Nguyen I don't think its the crews', idols or trainees usually have that much shoes from what i've noticed when they show their dorms because they can't use the same shoes all the time.
I'm still impressed why he isin't in the fix spot from the beggining,he is their best vocal my opinion from the beggining,so powerful...for me Team B strong voice is him
I agree that junhoe has a broad range and more powerful/develop voice but wat jinhwan has is that he has more control of his voice its just not powerful.. i also thought that junhoe was ganna be one of the fix members but i hope he makes it and if he does Ikon will have a main vocal!
I'm new to IKON that's why I'm watching this, but dang JUNHOE'S VOICE WHEN WE WAS SINGING MERCY WAS BOMB! fell in love with him... as of the moment he's my bias
When Jinhwan was talking to the new members last episode immediately you could tell he was the umma of the group. I love what yg says about B.I, Bobby and Jinhwan (dad, mum and brother) because it actually is exactly like that. My family is pretty similar to the way 3 act, especially my older brother (Bobby).
I feel like comforting B.I or something. He needs all the strength he can get. I can't fathom how he's holding up with all this pressure. He has to (1) protect his original members, (2) bring the new members up to scratch, (3) have them work together flawlessly as one team, (4) prepare for SMTM3 (at the time), (5) choreograph a team dance, (6) write rap lyrics, (7) edit songs for performances, and (8) a whole load of other small stuff like HIS OWN PERFORMANCE within the team. At least, the song-focused Mercy performance was a group effort, and I think Junhoe took charge of the singing/vocalizing bit. Gahd. Even GD didn't put up with this much stress when he was 18. So to all the people saying he's being mean or sharp or disrespectful, I hope you'd be a bit more understanding. It's not easy, what he has to do as a leader, and at some points in this episode, he looked halfway to zombie mode.
wkndblnkt Please don't compare BI to GD. In this show, BI's strong personality was shown.. as to GD, only a part of his strong mentorship was shown on tv. However, do not forget that GD and Taeyang started their training when they were still 11 to 12 yrs old. They served coffee, they were not properly taken cared of because YG has no enough money for that. All they do is to train themselves until they met the other 3 members and Bigbang was formed. At that time, YG is struggling, Bigbang is struggling.. but because of GDs leadership and members talent, they overcome their obstacles and paved the way for Kpop to be more popular outside their country. As I always say, "1st and 2nd gen crawled so that the next gen can walk.". 3rd gen is properly fed and taken cared of. YG have everything when Hanbin entered the scene. However, the competition is fiercer now because of so many kpop groups trying to make it. And Hanbin is one of those ambitious kid.. So he needs to be strict. In Leadership, both GD and Hanbin have it. They were born in different times but because of them, their teams are strong. But do not make a mistake of saying that GD did not even blah blah this unlike BI.. It is like saying BI is better. Bigbang have a strong legacy in Kpop. I am both a VIP and iKonic.. If there is one thing I have to say, YG should promote iKon well. Fater BP emerged, they focused on BP, less on iKon and Winner when both have strong potentials to be worldwide artists. I mean.. Look at them..hopefully,2021 is iKon's year.. They are so good..
I’ll always admire how strong Bobby’s and Donghyuk’s friendship is, they’re like brothers actually. Bobby’s always teasing DK and messing with him like an older brother would, but when he’s upset he’s always there to comfort him. I love family :’)
Боби Марианович Севова I'm rooting for jinhyeong too! chanwoo already has acting so i think jinhyeong should get this one.. i hope he improves more in the future >
b.i's leadership is beyond great.. just look how he blend chanwoo. he isn't rude, he's just provoking the member so they can improve and shows what they really got... good job son
A lot of u guys r saying that B.I needs to calm his temper down of the newbies, but guys that's what leaders are supposed to do. To lead others so they can be successful. Of course B.I would feel bad because as u saw he went out the door bc he was stressing out himself too. Like in the video, he said that he felt proud of Chanwoo for being better than his expectation so it proves that he doesn't bash them 100%. B.I is the leader of Ikon, the members r his responsibility, he needs to be hard on them if they want to be successful. It's all for them, just like GD from Big Bang. All leaders have to be hard on the members sometimes.
Papa YG is **REALLY** testing B.I. in W.I.N and now M&M. He's almost pushing him over the edge with all these "sudden" reformation to his team members. It takes SO MUCH just to lead a team of people with mixed capability, for whatever purpose. To delegate a position suitable for each member. To spot the weaknesses of each member and device means to cover them. To show off each member's strength, but maintain a balance so that the performance stays a team effort. Don't even start on bringing them newbies up to scratch. Not many people have the ability to GLUE a bunch of teenage/tweenage boys together! The E.Qs and I.Qs required for the task...**MENBOONG** (XoX") AND B.I's only what...18?! Half of us can't even look after ourselves around that age, let alone lead a team that's supposed to perform in front of thousands, representing an industry worth billions of US$$$!! The way I see it? Papa YG is betting on B.I. He **SEES** people. He **TRUSTS** B.I. even if B.I. himself doesn't believe he can pull through this one. WHY ELSE would Papa YG do THIS, if he thinks B.I. couldn't handle it?! The more I watch B.I....the more I respect this kid! He's NO JOKE!
exactly! but i feel so bad for him. its just too emotionally taxing to do all this. its not just leading the group but he also has to compose and write their songs, make the choreographies, train them on the choreographies. Not to mention, he was on SMTM during this period which is extremely stressful on its own. Im glad YG told BI that hes safe since you can see that as bad as he felt for the other members, his eyes did lighten up. you could feel that hes finally realized that all his hard work has not gone to waste
This is why I always say that B.I leaving ikon and yg is a huge loss to yg, and probably to the whole kpop industry. He’s the definition of a perfect leader.
YGfamily4ever Yea...the other members were reluctant to welcome the newbies meanwhile he just goes in and high fives them. When B.I said that the first ones to learn the dance would have to teach Chanwoo and Jinhyeong, Bobby was like "If I can leave that's fine with me." Then he turned around and smiled at them.
+YGfamily4ever I didn't like kpop before. i was more into r&b and hiphop. But then I saw Bobby at SMTM3. I thought he was cool & charismatic. But then I watched him here and whoa 180 degrees turn.
"I want all SIX of US to be TOGETHER/to DEBUT TOGETHER"..."I cant do it without the other members" this kind of lines is just enough to make an ikonic cry..
Everyone just talking about team b but I want to talk about YG HAT that hat has been with YG since 1995 and still going strong that's the true mvp of this show
The biggest competition for the other members is definitely Chanwoo. The criteria includes fan votes and that's a huge deciding factor. It's possible Chanwoo will get a lot of support because he's such a visual and was an actor. Now I fear for the other 3 original members. Yunjundong needs all the support they can get. Support them!
Not to be mean to his fans, but if he gets voted BECAUSE he is a visual and an actor then people are shallow as hell ._. this is not a "beauty" competition or who can be the best at acting, this is a dance and singing competition. Unless he improves and becomes really confident with a stable voice, I doubt he'll win. If he wins, it just shows how shallow people are, just my opinion. I'm not bashing him or anything, I'm just saying that if he wins just because he's handsome it'll be unfair to the people who actually do have talent.
if its based on voting from the public .. nearly everyone wants team b to be all in the group but if its ynexpected like win:who is next .. we do know !!
But i don t Know the public can change theirs opinion ... Anyway We Will see Ikon fighthing ! Wait and see with Hand cross for the 6 membres of team b reunite in Ikon 🙏
Yunhyung, Junhoe and Donghyuk will do fine. If talking about fans, they already gained fans from WIN. They didn't debut yet but they have fans all over the world. I know the original TEAM B will make it. Their fans including me won't let them down. Sorry for the 3 new members but I don't care who'll gonna make them to the group but i'm still rooting for the three original members with Bobby BI and Jinhwan. ;)
I guess I can understand the way B.I wanted to protect his team, that have gone through thick and thin together, but Bobby really showed some great leadership skills here. Instead of just being disappointed, angry and scared, he went to the ones that needed support the most. And Jinhwan has such a rational head, his holistic way of thinking lead him straight to "I hope they can also think that through doing their best they'll also succeed" (I'm paraphrasing but, yeah), and it's such a beautiful thing to see. iKon fighting!
Watching back iKon’s journey to their debut is really heartbreaking and touching . The original six went through so much and at this stage the later three ie June , DK & Song were told they have to compete again omg! I love how Bobby , BI and Jinan trusted and encouraged them. Song shows strong mentality in this episode . BI at such young age is so admirable for his leadership- he’s so talented (he writes , raps and choreographed dance) strict but witty and extremely charismatic. It’s definitely a loss for YG when he left and I salute the remaining members being strong and continue. As much as I adored BI , I love and adore the current iKon . But honestly speaking , without BI ,they are less ‘intimidating/dominating’ as one can see from their performance in Kingdom legendary war .
woahhhhh JinHwan can really dance, he's also a pretty fast learner. comparing the first practice dance of all the members, JinHwan looks so steady and sure. I'm glad most of the dances feature him in the middle, i'm sure he'll be iKON's main dancer. Whooo can't wait for their debut!
when BI team praise bcoz the selection of their song is rite for every member, especially june, i remember in one of variety shows the mc asked BI what kind music genre he likes, and he said hiphop. But then the mc asked again why his music not much with hiphop style, and he said again..he cant always produce a music when one of the member doesnt like his genre. Kkkk, BI really suit as a leader, he know how to make his members get shine without forgeting his roots.
BI looks tough, his words cut, but he a big ass softie. Hes his business that's all. Like my fave GD. I hate doing comparisons but you can tell who he looks up to. This epi is a testament to his leadership really. Chanwoo didnt seem to be having the most fun at practice but look how well he did. The other kid felt good but was still nervous. This isnt a slight against Bobby or Jinhwan, but a leader needs to know when to squeeze the best out of you. I think he did well with the dance. Go B.I!!!
they really have a strong bond. I could never imagine how heart-broken they must have felt when Hanbin left the group. Nobody miss BI as much as iKon does. And noone feels lost Hanbin more than the remaining 6 members themselves. But anyhow, I'm so glad when the news about Hanbin came out. And it's only about time until we see him rock the stage again. With or without iKon, let's support Hanbin's career. I'm sure that the members will still keep a good relationship with Hanbin even though he's no longer be a part of the group. And I'm sure that the remaining 6 members will feel very happy if us, ikonics, still supporting and loving Hanbin despite the fact he's no longer iKon member. Loving Kim Hanbin even more...
BI once again proving why hes the best leader for the team! its ironic how people were attacking him last episode and then earlier in this episode we saw him being so caring to the new guys. The performance he created in this episode was flawless
love hanbin's leadership skills--really gets the most out of his members. also can't believe they had to film this alongside smtm. must've been really stressful.
Again re-watching this in a hope that B.I will return... I can say that after watching this I've come to know not only iKON but also YG. They say YG is the most strict with its artists but due to that strictness they produce only legends❤
I watched Mix and Match series for several times but every time I see how B.I struggled to protect his team, I cry...... He was the best leader and Still for me he IS the best leader.
