@@roctv100 Showing posters that favor your point is not receipts. She asked for the contract. Thats like if someone calls a company out for not giving a charity the money they said they gave them... and the company responds back showing a picture of them handing them the big post card check. LMFAO
I’m not gonna deny that Monique has some issues but Oprah, Tyler Perry, and Netflix aren’t paragons of morality and ethics. We’ve seen firsthand how badly Oprah treated Monique. Right after she won an Oscar for Precious, Oprah invited Monique’s brother who molested her onto her show and her estranged family members also took part in the interview. I can’t really ignore that she was trying to force and exploit a reconciliation between a victim and their abuser after the victim repeatedly said no.
@@terencebarnes7393she didn’t go after his daughter or his wife. He went after him. She never disparaged them. That’s what going after someone means, disparaging them. Not just mentioning them when you’re talking.
@@Carlwat78actually she explained that DL started it with disrespecting her husband initially and not apologizing for his crew that's what started their drama Thats what Monique said in the club shay shay interview
@@Carlwat78She did not bring up his family. He made a post about his daughter. She shared it. She never said anything worse than what he said already. She called him a coward, which is her opinion, even though it’s harsh. The truth would clear that up. No need for all the name calling and calling out her weight.
@@trainwithme7152 nah this was before that issue had happened but I don’t think the question was a big deal either. She could’ve said pass and moved on but she might be sensitive about the topic. You never know
@@sammyjones8882 I saw a video where DL was on a radio show confirming that he (at first) did not believe his daughter about being assaulted because his friend was a perpetrator.
Respectfully it feels like you bein dismissive of what Monique sayin cause from what you've seen, you dont like her personality and dont know the full story in regards to the situation.
Just because she said something it don’t mean they receipts. It’s easy to hear someone on big platform and believe everything they especially if they the first person you hear.
@@terencebarnes7393 No I think they mean actual evidence she posted. Monique has posted the audio of the conversation between her and Tyler Perry. She also showed the video of the trailers that blew up. Then folks found the Videos of D.L bashing Monique over the years
@@Minxven2121 Ignoring is strong more like in denial about the situation. I’ve also seen it, he admitted to feeling ashamed about the situation, to act like he knew but didn’t care is very different and disingenuous.
@Minxven2121 Which Mo brought up with false context and info. People really out here with short term memory forgetting how utterly disgusting Monique was for speaking on that, hell for even speaking on his family who had nothing to do with the beef, so much so that she APOLOGIZED.
Saying something wasn’t that deep you can’t play with everyone the same way… people react and take things differently then everyone else. And Monique also went live after DL responded and explained it further. She didn’t lie on DL he was lying. That man literally believed the man who hurt his daughter over his own child.
My opinion: MoNique should be respected as an Elder in the community. But people keep trying her. My mom was old school like Mo, imma be as nice as I’m supposed to be but the moment you try me, it’s a wrap. Some people just get tired of others trying to take advantage
You seem to be way more objective in your analysis of this situation, than you were with Katt where he was implying a whole lot of conspiracies theories and you ate it all up.
Probably because Katt didn't go for someone's children while trying to discredit them. He did it right. I don't even know what she's mad about anymore.
@@Theresnotenough This shay shay interview was not about her talking about DL's children. That was something she did in the past. And Katt literally made a joke about Rickey Smiley losing his child, which is way worse, and he did it on club shay shay.
@@Theresnotenough No it's not involved. DL brought it up in his response to the interview in order to highlight what type of person Mo'nique is, but it had nothing to do with anything Mo'nique said in the interview.
@meks1478 I understand that, but since he brought it up, that's why its involved. Not involved in the interview, but it's involved in the specific situation.
Hold on now. You should watch the whole interview or at least highlights of it. Monique backed up all her claims. She may come off as the aggressor but I respect her for standing her ground
I don't always agree with Monique and I personally don't find her funny, but she's right. I can't deny all the receipts and evidence she's pulled 👀 Crazy how after Taraji came out, people are like "damn, Monique was right."
She's not right with everything. Shes' not telling the truth with the D.L thing or the Tyler thing. Tyler never even apologized for spreading "rumors" about her, he apologized for making HER feel bad since that what she was going around saying.
@@terencebarnes7393if she wasn't posting receipts I guess you'd say She is lying she has no receipts 😂 She literally recorded Tyler saying I did you wrong and its an issue lol Monique can be right on certain things and wrong on others She's human
@@Beyoncéisthegoat Think most believed her with Oprah, T. Perry, Lee Daniels situation, and most believe her when comes to pay of black woman actresses. The proof she provided for those situations are not news. My issue was from DL situation I thought that was foul, didn’t really see proof exactly to justify her actions to me.
I see a lot of hypocrisy online because Katt was getting all the grace in the world. He was making jokes about ppls wives and said Ricky Smiley sacrificed his child (which is way worse). Katt Williams doesn't blame everybody but himself? Dude literally fought a teenager and slapped someone in Target. Took zero accountability after the fact. Everybody knows he's on drugs, and he lies about it. Katt is worse, but it's funny when he does it because he's not a black woman. Monique was right. Ppl just don't wanna side w ppl they don't like.
I don't remember Katt talking about someone getting raped and the father ignoring it.. so, nah. It ain't the same thing. He called Ludacris wife ugly and barely said anything about Ricky's kid.
@@Theresnotenough it's funny how you have selective memory, depending on what's convenient for your argument lol. He called everybody's wife (Steve, Luda, Ced, Kevin, etc) ugly. He literally said he was referring to 7 ppl when he was speaking on their wives. And he literally made a joke about Ricky sacrificing his child that died. That's barely anything to you? What the hell are you talking about? Your entire reply was pointless, so don't respond unless you have real facts this time.
@LIBryda you said exactly what I just said. It's not selective memory. As I said, he only called them ugly. That's hardly comparable. And I see that my comment was cutoff about Ricky. He barely said anything about Ricky's kid that I can recall, so I can't speak on that. I've said nothing false.
@LIBryda Katt vs Ricky is something I can't speak on. However, he wasn't the only one Katt spoke about. In this situation, Monique only spoke on DL. There's still a extreme difference.
Hey boo as always an amazing video. But u should definitely watch the whole interview to get the full story. She isn't as problematic as the media tries to paint her.
My two cents: As Monique stated, sometimes the message gets lost because of the messenger. I am now just seeing her cuss DL out on that stage (that was harsh); she's no saint, but his people should've done their research regarding the choice of game/question they asked her. This is where age comes in; As a young person, we may not think nothing of the game, but she's a grown married woman; that question was weird (especially for someone in a committed relationship). Regarding her comment on DL's daughter, I don't think it was her place to bring her in it. I haven't watched the full video, but I'm going to assume that Monique was triggered/felt she was sympathizing with her considering the fact that herself (Monique) was molested by her brother. I'd recommend watching the full interview to get some perspective.
An Dee you need too actually watch the interview part by part too hear the full story instead of always listening too this voice over lady that barely touch basis on everythinggg on her videos cause she be leaving out key information frfr
For me its the fact that mo is a lady with class she not finna play into those childish games and if she give something a chance come correct you asking a 56 year old women abt her husband its not even abt the game its abt the topics they were asking her if you know anything abt people with etiquette any jokes or subliminals are off limitis
Ok so this video cut out so much that she said lmao. It didn’t air because he was served a CEASE AND DESIST, he didn’t not air it out the kindness of his heart. She has apologized for what she said about the daughter, even tho it’s still inexcusable . This video made it look like she was just coming after him for no reason. She also WAS the headliner for the show. DL came late to the show on purpose so he could go last. That’s why she went off on stage like that.
No, her husband said otherwise. It was the next step if it wasnt pulled but he made monique believe that it was sent. I also have to say there are several instances where he confuses monique with the truth is. When charlemagne asked of they negotiated with netflix, monique said yes while her daddy manager says no
Ik your not fond of monique but if you watch the full interview whether its in private or on here youll see a different point of view. The people dl named off all are shady lol with multiple people saying those people are shady. So is it really her? Or is she just being honest
Lee Daniels directed Precious...so that whole drama and ppl have accentuated Moniques husband is on the dl.....when they did that game on the radio show it wasn't a random axx question it was on purpose lol
Despite Monique's desire to put an end to the beef behind the scenes, DL Huguely waited to show up until Monique was on stage. So she addressed him on stage right then and there since she knew he was listening to her. She called him out for this reason.
I agree wit dee but dl literally admitted to ignoring his daughters rape bc it was his friend who did it and his relationship strained bc of his negligence
Also, no one seems to mention how in his feelings DL was. He said she had the worst rated comedy special in Netflix history. That’s just factually inaccurate and easily disprovable. It was certainly not a great comedy special, but he’s exaggerating because he’s offended, but people don’t want to call him a liar about that? People just feel more comfortable calling Monique the angry black woman who thinks she’s better than she is. Monique has achieved more than Taraji, and they still treated her like they did. Taraji herself is going through the same thing, and I’m expecting her to get blackballed for calling out the Color Purple and everyone seeing Oprah in her true colors. Will they then start to denegrate Taraji? That’s about to happen, just watch.
I truly enjoyed the interview. Very good. I just don't understand why D.L. went off when she didn't say anything bout him during the Club Shay Shay interview 🤔 She was mainly talking about the people that work with him
That guy is a colorist. Even before monique said anything he made jokes about her he never showed her respect. Hes one of those friends in high school that made fun of the dark skin girls and play it off as jokes
They have previous beef. Literally discussed in the Vid Dee is reacting too smh Mo went on stage cussing DL out because she THOUGHT she was the headliner (and wasn't) then proceeded to drag his family into her one sided beef with him.
D.L has receipts as well that actually back up what he's saying and not taking bits and parts to forcefully make a point like Mo did. I advise you go look
You gotta really watch the interview, even though, knowing you, you might want to watch the interview because it's over 2 hrs long. 😆 Your opinions might change. She had every right to call all them out (not sure about DL). Especially Oprah and Tyler Perry.
Lmaooo idk why Dee is annoyed by Mo’Nique. They did her dirty, blackballed her and ain’t pay her for what she was worth. She got receipts for what she saying too!
Monique hasn’t been doing this for attention. She won her lawsuit against Netflix. She got a public apology from Lee Daniel’s. She has audio of Tyler Perry saying that he lied on her and would make it right at some point, but never did. DL Hughley tried to trick all of us with that memo when Monique had the actual contract. She is exposing what happens to black women, but she is too fat, black, and not pretty and quiet enough for people to want to listen, so they ignore her and have let it continue for years.
All people say about Monique is she fat, her husband weird, and she’s hard to work with… but weight can be lost, we’ve never heard any scandals from her husband, and is she difficult or she doesn’t take no bull crap?
If she was the problem, she would not be getting apologies and a Netflix special. She acted on emotion with DL, but she always have receipts. And who comes up with that type of question about your husband...thats insane.
Talking about lying, D.L is lying. Monique isn't even on that list. He also lied about her not being a nice person because ALOT of people have met her and said she's very nice. She hit a nerve because he went off so bad.
nah Monique was right, she has receipt and was being taken advantage of for years, i watched that full interview, even when katt said no d.l slander i was like ummm he's no angel
Here's the thing. I don't agree with everything Monique says. She didn't need to go on that stage and vent like she did. It was unprofessional and unnecessary. That being said, she has EVERY right to have issues with Oprah AND Tyler. Oprah is a SNAKE. Tyler is just fake as hell. Oprah betrayed her. Tyler treated her like shit. After watching the entire interview, she went into great depth about everything AND she has RECEIPTS. She's NOT the problem. She demands respect from her colleagues in the industry. She SHOULD demand respect. All the things people are talking about now as far as pay inequality Monique said YEARS ago but NO ONE backed her. But she wasn't afraid like them even though her standing up for herself cost her ALOT. Anyway the interview was amazing and people should watch it in its entirety.
I understand it’s wrong that Monique brought up dl’s daughter trauma as a way to attack him mentally, but we can’t celebrate Megan the stallion song piss when she used that Megan bar to diss Nicki, it’s literally the same shit.
People dont like Monique so they dknt listen when she is spitting facts lol Even Dees cap was basically that Monique has been wrong sometimes but honestly shes mostly right
This person whittled a 2 hour long interview down to select clips for 20 mins. no way you can truly formulate anything from that. She actually had receipts so...
I dont care how correct Monique may be in some things, the fact she bought up his daughters molestation means everything she says against him is tarnished
Exactly and everyone still ride with her after that people are weird. Then going act like she actually give a fxck about his daughter issues. There a lot sheep in this comment section.
Since all these comedians seem to be brought up lately, I'm curious to know if Dee likes Dave Chappelle? or is he also thrown under the bus for something?
every body is a problem except her while everybody gets along except her. and Katt of course. they just can't admit that theyre too full of themselves and very hard to work with. they don't know the concept of having a boss they think boss=slavery.
She brings up very valid points but I hate how she acts like every attack on her is an attack on the black community. Monique and D.L. got beef? Ok don't bring me into it as a "black baby", I don't care. Neither of them are funny to me. Taraji speaking on being underpaid hits way harder because EVERY time I've seen her she's acting her ass off. Monique complains about being underpaid and I start asking to see numbers tbh
Again you should watch the full interview because this video really made it seem like she just came at him and that’s not the case. And you saying something isn’t that serious and how someone should react to a situation but you’re not in her shoes so, of course you wouldn’t react the way she does. You don’t understand her situation because it hasn’t happened to you. You’re not a millionaire who has people playing in their face and hasn’t gotten their just due.
Tbh Mo'Nique is messy lmaooo there IS truth in people saying she's problematic. She thinks bc others dont agree with her 1000% that THEY are in the wrong. No, not everyone is gonna agree with everything you do. Tyler never apologized for spreading 'rumors' about her like shes insinuating as well
I just can't trust anyone that calls their husband Daddy in public around strangers. But, let me point out, she started to go down when her Daddy husband manager got into her life. She started fighting with everyone
@@phantom_weeb Eww, that's it. Whenever I hear a woman use that term for their man, it's always 100% of the time, women that have been sexually abused by a family member. And, God, it creeps me the f**k out.
Mo'Nique is under bad management. She could used those 3 hours with goofy ninja to promote her upcoming show or movies or book deal....hell a new fashion brand deal ....SOMETHING!!! But no...she just wanted to get dressed up and cry about the same thing. 15 yrs of Mo'Nique whining. It has to stop at some point.
I'm with DL on this. I feel about Monique the same way I feel about Katt, except Katt is funny. They're both bitter. They think they should be more successful than they are and are jealous. They do all this truth telling to get attention but never mention the shady things they've done. She's the common denominator in all these problematic situations.
