I had NO IDEA.....that Mo'Nique , was supposed to have been given "that particular role" in "The Buttler".....but that, it went to Oprah. i could tell you this; Lee Daniels - although his career blew up and escalated, from "Precious" - shot himself in the foot, with that one. as a director......and a creative visionary, that a director is, he should have put his differences aside and offered THAT PARTICULAR role to Mo'Nique.....because, she is best suited and qualified to carry that role. there is a quality, that Mo'Nique HAS......that conversely, Oprah does NOT. i can't label what it is.......the best name i can give it is that it is "Soul". it is deep "Passion". Mo'Nique has a lot more Soul than Oprah. Lee Daniels, let his own ego get the best of him.......i know that "The Buttler" did well, but it would have been Soaring, if that role would have been offered to Mo'Nique instead.

Anyone else here who just saw her on Steve Harvey?? They sho got into it!!! Damn I wondered why she disappeared from the spotlight for so long. But hey. She now has a residency show in Vegas. Lol
