Yep! Layne! And have you seen their latest yet? "Sleeping In The Cold Below?" I can't recall. But if you haven't be prepared...Layne goes off the hook (heh, little joke there) in that one.
Hi Saeed! This is most certainly one of their most fun and upbeat! I find it really hard not to dance around the kitchen to it! Part of it might be because I lived in Hawaii as a kid (way back in the 1960s when it had recently become a state). I just love that they learned the correct pronunciations for the Polynesian words in this. And this one does just have so many changes in the transitions. Lots of movement!
About the closed captions. Geoff's solo work is more likely to have humor in them, but his are also more descriptive. Instead of saying, humming or harmonizing, he sometimes puts in Geoff humming, Geoff harmonizing. For the first obvious fun caption, try his version of 16 Tons. His wife Kathy suffers from profound hearing loss, so he is sensitive to others with that issue, hence the descriptive nature. Their Mermaid Medley was done a couple of years after this, you can definitely see how the production values increased over time between the two. Rachel is also in that one.
Moana is such a good movie man. Its my favorite "newer" disney movies😊 I don't think you've seen their little mermaid medley, also with Rachel Potter, its AMAZING 😊💜💜 if you show this moana medley to your daughter you'll have to let us know what she thought of it 😂💜
VoicePlay goes "all in" with everything they produce and it shows because each subsequent performance is a bit better. And I'm not sure there's an upper limit for their creativity and skills.
Mostly the CC are during the song, but VP can be tricky! If you don't mind a suggestion, for your next video you make, check out "Oogie Boogie's Song,'" and leave the CC on. There's some humor in there, in the last 30 seconds or so...
@@SaeedReacts. Cool, you'll really like it! It's often a gateway video for getting people into Voiceplay. It's older, so has Eli, J. None, Geoff, Layne and their old high tenor Earl.
Rachel has appeared in performances of The Little Mermaid and of course she appears in VoicePlay's video of it, as well as this. She does have the perfect voice for it. Geoff does put some fun comments in his own videos, such as "super duper low" when he sings some subharmonics.
Have you noticed ? In 6:49 the background it's in Hawaiian, while Rachel keeps singing in English. This is Voiceplay's video with most reviews. It's fantastic, isn't it?
Voiceplay did a lot of Disney videos. Another Disney related channel is Pattycake Productions. Owned by Layne and former member Tony Wakim. All of their videos are original to them and are amazing. They bring Disney characters to life. My favorites are..... Villains Haunted Mansion. Bump In The Night. Will of Oz. Villains Lair series. This is where they bring a bunch of Disney villains together to plot revenge on the ones that wronged them. A fantastic continuing musical. The first episode is "What Goes Around Comes Around". They just released season 2 episode 5 "Life's Not Fair" last month and are working on episode 6. There are many main villains and feature other various villains each episode. The main villains.... Evil Queen, Jafar, Cruella, Gaston, lady Tremaine, evil step sisters, Maliciefent, Captain Hook, Prince Han, Queen of Hearts, Rapunzel's mom.
