Malfoy Trashed she is still pretty little girls she said she's not sure 🤔 but the niece is a good 😊 for the girls so she is the only person who is there she has a little better to know about that she's the niece and of her a family she said she's not sure 🤔 but the mother and the kids will enjoy 😊 the hospital and her doctor appointment at a night mare and the nurse she smiled as before we went on the family suite she was a mommy of course a mommy she said she's been Ramielle Rina. Raeleen. Enhanced the nurse to hospital the nurse to nurse her hospital to the nurse she told the nurse that they
Dawny Kelii I like the way you think of that. Everyone told her to keep still, and then when she goes to find her grandma they dance with water, and she tells her to go where her heart tells her.
Fun fact: Moana’s dad’s singing voice was actually Christopher Jackson who played ‘George Washington’ in Hamilton and ‘Benny’ in the musical version of In the Heights
Haha! My cookie. When Moana says it strikes me like she means shes trapped, but the way her dad sings it makes me feel the opposite like no one would ever want to leave. It incredible how these singers are so passionate about what they sing that they can take the same line but make you feel opposite things.
I watched this movie when I was a little kid. Looking back at it now as a depressed teenager, it gives me a very sad and longing feeling. I need this pain to go away right now and I don’t have the motivation to help myself. Even though this is a happy song, I’m interpreting it as a breakthrough, and that’s what I need right now.
Don't ever give up. Only you can fix this. Wait for others to pick you up and you'll be disappointed. It's up to you to find happiness in life again. That's all you can do
the grandmother and the father are the opposite while the father pressures Moana into being chief when she grows up the grandmother soothes Moana and tries to show her she can choose her own path. Which is y I like the grandmothers solo
The only problem is Maui almost killed her by leaving her to die in a cave and he stole the heart so if she passed the reef she would've died because he had the same experience and without telling she and her pig almost died.
Mmesoma Igwilo me to its like her dad is like No your not going there your gonna do this or be an amazing her mom is like Here let me help you she packs her things up for her to when Moana leaves to find maui her grandmother is like find maui grabs him by the ear and say and Go find out and like whatever just happened blame it on the pig and I'm his mother I Don't have to tell him anything moanas mom and Grandma is trying to help her instead of pressuring her and maui is also pressuring her like TURN BACK No your not going te fiti also helps her instead of pressuring her like here let me you and fixes her boat that's helping instead of Pressure it's like three or more people are helping her instead of pressuring her and two people are pressuring her if I was a girl or A Cheetah I would be like Here let me help you do whatever you would like to do I will not pressure you and if you need me I will be there for you
Moana is actually pressured on all sides. Not just by her father. The grandmother and ocean have burdened Moana with the weight of being the chosen one. The only one in the movie who isn't dumping a ton of responsibility onto Moana is Maui.
“When we look to the future there you are, you’ll be ok, In time you’ll learn just as I did, you must find happiness right where you are” because why am I crying
There's something about how "moana, that voice inside is who you are" is sang that is just so beautiful and soothing. She has such a wonderful voice, I wish we heard her more in the film. You can really hear Lin Manuel Miranda's style in this song, I can't help but compare it to "we don't talk about bruno" when they all sing together. He's a fantastic song writer
wolftickets1969 Actually, The Little Mermaid and Moana have a lot in common. Their father is overly-protective because of a past incident that happened to them, so they keep their daughters behind boundaries. The daughters are both are in line to rule next. They're obsessed with seeing what is beyond the boundaries. They look to an old woman for advice, and the old woman helps them. They discover outside their boundaries, and aquire skills that help them adapt to the place around them thanks to the male protagonist. The evil villain is destroyed, except that in The Little Mermaid, they disguise as a good spirit and are evil, and in Moana they are disguised as evil and are turned to good by destroying the evil part.
i remember i was young and i was so excited to see it in the theaters! i did a performance of “how far i’ll go” with my friends and i memorized all the lyrics. i remember it to this day. i could easily recite all the lyrics of the song right now and i’m proud.
"consider the coconut" has become a weird joke with my friend! Today we were deciding where to go for lunch and I said, "yeah we could go to the usual place but consider, the coconut"
“You are your father's daughter, Mind what he says but remember You may hear a voice inside. And if that voice starts to whisper To follow the farthest star Moana, that voice inside is who you are.” -Grandma Tala (Moana’s Grandma) (One of the best lyrics ever written in every Disney songs, and I love it)
I feel like the way he’s singing it is like “no one would really want to leave” you know? Like they are all living happily and stuff besides her. And the way she’s singing it is like she’s trapped somewhere she doesn’t belong.
I still remember me and my aunt singing this to me when I was a kid before she moved to Australia. I used to be so happy that she sang my favorite song. 😭❤️
I always thought Moana was a kids movie and the songs were childish, I’m 18 and came back to this and I love it so much! I started to tear up abit at the end
"and when we look to the future there you are, you'll be okay, in time you'll learn just as i did, you must find happiness right where you are." really hitsss tbh after 9 months i've found my happiness right where i am
I like how the whole plot of the movie sort of goes against this song 😆. Still has a simultaneously brilliant and sorry message, gives it so much more meaning. LoveZ!!!!
the grandma part but especially 2:03-2:27 “and if the voice starts to whisper to follow the farthest star, moana that voice inside is who you are” got me crying a lil EVERY time
My name is Tala, like Grandma Tala!!! I'm obsessed with Disney and when I found out my name was in a Disney movie I nearly cried! Then I realised that she was an old woman (oh well, still love it).
2:20 "And if the voice starts to whisper to follow the farthest star, Moana, the voice inside is wh you are" Has a really important message, You can live in a poor or rich family, royal or not, The thing that limits you is the believes you dint want, If you want to become a traveller, and if thr voice inside you says yes, Then thats who you are.
My fave character isnt moana. Its her grandma she has a great passion and a huge heart i love her sooo much. Thats it im gonna be a grandma as cool as her
"Sing the Beginning of Moana!!!" Paul: "Moanaaa Make way, make wayyyy Consider the coconut hoho Consider the treesss And no one leavesss I hated that movie"
the depth of this song is historical and the reason behind it is beautiful Huge heartfelt appreciation to Lin- Manuel Miranda for composing this masterpiece, as well as all the vocalist and musicians involved. ❤️
Some mornings when I wake up there's a song stuck in my head. When I woke up this morning with the lyrics "when we look to the future there you are" were stuck in my head I went to search the lyrics and now I'm crying 😢 especially when the grandma said you are your fathers daughter your pride and stubborness like wow how did I land here also my father is deceased 💔 this song just hits on another level.
Why can't i just be a child again i miss all of our children movies i just want to sit down watch all of my child movies again i just want to know nothing and run around be a child again but here is the world where we all grow up but i just want to pause the world be my 8 year old self again
This song is a perfect example of a dystopian society. The song makes it seem sweet but if you actually look at the lyrics moanas dad says stuff like “you MUST find happiness right where you are” and moanas the change because she says “you CAN find happiness right where you are”
