Not necessarily true for everyone in the streets, listen crime is a part of the foundation of America, most people that came to America used crime as a ladder to transcend poverty, from the Jewish people to the Italian people etc etc, then they used those resources to go legit because they understand that if you want to have generational wealth you have to play the legitimate game of business, so blacks in America are no different the only difference is yall made being a part of the streets a part of your identity, so it stops becoming a way to rise above poverty and that is one reason a lot of people involved in the streets have a hard time transcending that part of themselves, and of course once you spill blood in the streets you can never escape that, so it's a very complicated issue, I wouldn't tell anyone what to do but what I would say is if you're thinking about going into that lifestyle know what you're walking into and the requirements it will take from you, not just in the streets but the legal system and how they prey on criminals it's all a part of that game, you might think you're a gangster but ain't no gang bigger then the government and they have all the tools to destroy you
@gdc615
@gdc615 5 лет назад
All we doing is killing each other. Whats cool about that? I live in Baltimore. I dont even watch the news here because I already know what im going to see. Biggie and Tupac died for nothing. Yall can call it being loyal or riding for his team or whatever the fuck but at the end of the day they died nothing. Period.
@floralkami2860
@floralkami2860 5 лет назад
@@user-ik5ze1sh7i I agree with some sentiments but I disagree with crime being neccassary to transcend poverty. Because to be honest, theres more money in the legal hustles than there is in the street, at least money an individual would have access to. Most money in the street people in that lifestyle never touch. It's a totally better option to pursue education to build skills, or to go into high finance if you dont want to work for anyone else.

leo mobs killed people too the difference with them is they moved in silence it wasn’t about throwing up signs and claiming certain neighborhoods at least not the way we do. They sold dope and etc just like we did, killed their own like we did, but they had code of ethics in how they did business. Gangs are less disciplined versions of what the mob is.
@sonickidd4

People always talkin bout how James must hate Tupac. I don’t necessarily see it that way. I feel as tho he’s aggravated by the fact that both his brother Bountry and Tupac died for the same exact reason, their blind loyalty to Suge. Seeing as how he can’t come at bountry about it since that’s his blood, he takes his criticism out on Tupac because at the end of the day, in James eyes, Tupac epitomizes the same errors that got his lil bro killed....

That's a deeper way of looking at it that I can see, but I think he laid it out in earlier parts, where his real dislike for Pac came from if you listened to to all he said. 1. He didn't agree with Pac getting the M.O.B tat, because he wasn't from their hood and never put in work for it, but as he also said, the other homies loved Pac and it was them that gave him the tattoo essentially. 2. He didn't like the way the homies accepted Pac, to the point where they mourned him longer than they did the original dead homies, and also got tattoos of him on them. In his eyes, they were loving Pac more than him or even Suge! So he does have an axe to grind. To me, that's more than reason enough for James to dislike Pac, without Buntry's death being a part of his reasoning. James just never gave himself a chance to know Pac like the other homies, because he was busy being mad and trying not to look like a groupie in his own eyes, which is what he really calls the other homies in earlier parts, because they accepted PAC. Just my opinion from listening to him on different platforms. A bit of misplaced hate?
@BTman58
@BTman58 5 лет назад

I turned Piru when I was 14 ,,I’m 28 now. I lived by the burgundy pfUNK LIFESTYLE once I had my son I realized I can’t be Mobn an be a father it don’t mix ,,I jumped off the porch early certified from NJ but og from east side of bompton. When u a stand up nigga u can grow to leave the lifestyle an be a man. I been in crazy situations that at Young age I should have never seen 1411 like I was growing anYou get the respect but that gets you nowhere and never turn my back on my brothers my brothers know my way of life now is not for me it’s for my son respect the Mob I am the Mob but the Mob respect me ,,Take my advice gang Bangor leads to pain and seeing things you should never witnessed but it made me a man Insane464 respect to this interview Vlad an OG James
