Hi Telixion! I used your concept of the ADFGX Cipher and discovered the key word last night!

I have no prior experience with solving ciphers, but have recently watched some videos on solving this. Maybe the keyword is "Summoning" if you take out the repeating letters. This would spell "Sumnig," which follows Telixion's method of having the first two letters be higher than the last four. Just an idea.

maybe you need to use the adfgvx cipher which has all the letters of the alphabet and numbers 0-9 , in the loading screen in the bottom left corner it says that, "a cat has 9 lives and you could be needing to use the numbers 0-9 in the cipher

I just remembered in trazit there's a quote from Rithofen thats says " The key to succses is" and then he starts making wierd noices maybe the noices is him acually saying ffgxgdgff and so on 0.o

I think the adgfx cipher has 2 parts. The adgfx part and next would be scrambled letters that need to be placed in correct order

In "Revelations" in Nacht Der Untoten, there is an Arcade Ticket. A lot of people said that the numbers might belong to a tap code. When I put the numbers in a tap code, they came out to being an ADFGX code. I'm not sure if it is relevant (I figured tap code used by prisoners and Mob of the Dead) but it might be something worth checking out.

the first two letters of the 6 letter code definitely have to be higher in value than the rest of the word. Me and my brother have made a program which we ran all 6 letter words through and it gave us all 6 letter words where the first two letters have a higher value than the rest of the word (with a=1 and z=26) the program states that there are a possible 410 words that fit to that format..... this could take forever

Okay so I am pretty late to this, but I have an idea. The cipher has 34 letters to my knowledge because there are 68 cipher letters. 34 can be divided again by two so what if we need to find a combination that gives us ANOTHER code for the ADFGX cipher. This is just a theory it could work out

its actually 25! or 25 factorial. 26 to the power 26 implies that letters can be repeated. They cant. Also "i" and "j" are combined on to one space. Therefore the correct number of possible alphabets would be 25! or 25 x 24 x 23 x ... x 1 or to do the math for you: 1.551121^25

I think that I have found a way to work from trial and error with this cipher. In the middle there is a sequence of 6 letters that repeat themselves exactly; FDGFFG, FDGFFG; and the great thing about this is that we don't need to know a keyword because if you rearrange the columns of the adfgx for the key word it will still repeat. Knowing this we could try to figure out what 3 letters in the alphabet are most likely to repeat for a 6 letter word or split word... examples are difficult to find that make sense but it MUST be 3 letters that repeat in a 6 letter string. yes, yes could be one but highly unlikely idk I'm sure someone will think of something better, but if we figure that out we can reconstruct the polybius based off of it then find a key word by trial and error like this video.

I'm sure there is a alphabet square in revelations somewhere and the letters are not in the right order but it maybe that this order is what they used to make the cipher.

At 2:22 on the trailer, there's a four by four grid, which translates as mob of the dead. So I don't know if that might help at all! :)

Try the keyword aim, on shadows of evil there was a simple easteregg that had no meaning because it was in Morse code and it spelled out aim, there could be a connection there since the blood vials and everythinn

It's been months since MOTD came out. I'm actually very surprised that no one has been able to decode this yet, considering the size of the zombie community. And since the keyword is still unknown there isn't much left to do except to use trial and error. The only possibility that the keyword might be has been scribbled out at the top right of the loading screen under the sentence "Remember this AL don't forget."

What about alcatraz spelt backwards? Its revelent and would fit the could of having a high letter first and a low letter last?

It is a double coded cipher

remove the x from the adfgx and use the x's from the string of letters as spaces. then in the keybox given on the loading screen replace the numbers with the corresponding letters!

With my little knowledge of cryptography, I believe it may be double encrypted once we get out of the encrypted form of the adfgx cipher.

It's weird that you can't use J, Q seems to be the misplaced letter to me. GAGX is not found horizontally, vertically forwards nor backwards in any version so there is no words that use Q in them. With the 9 lives thing you mention Z ended up where Q is so maybe it's just a weird coincidence

Has anyone figured out this adfgx cipher? I have read all the threads to no avail. And tried making sense of it myself, but my polybius doesn't fit but I think the "mob of the dead ABCD has a keyword somewhere... Instead of a 6 letter key I thought 12. Then they must be alphabetized under key. This should give us how many words the actual cypher is. Any-who has anyone cracked this?
