Excellent documentary. There is one problem with this updated version. They cut out some key comments by Joe Agosto, J. Edgar Hoover and others. Some ass-hat decided to edit the original version. What really sucks is that George Knapp did a GREAT JOB on this revisit.
@@edmondt848 I think your point is very interesting. The quote I posted on this specific upload was what came to mind because; having the mafia burry bodies in the desert to get rid of them and some of the activities that the mob was up to or just mind-blowing. So my comment was made in regard to that type of activity. (Mafia related) with that being said I haven't really done a deep study into different structures of law I think we all have a basic belief about them. I appreciate the convo. In this situation I think George Knapp does a great job in pointing out the fact they shouldn't be above the law. Hope you have a great day today. ☺
Fun to see the "modern" lighting in the 1995 stand ups. Blue back light, Red set light. Gels, gels, gels! Now it's a puffy white gauze. Basically a white tent over the set...looks good, though.
Tony Spilotro got the word from Joey Lombardo that he needed to "clean his dirty laundry." Also, the idea that there was a $200K hit on Cullotta is ridiculous. The outfit doesn't pay for hits. They give an associate or a made guy a job to do and he does it. If he doesn't, they get another guy to kill HIM, then finish the job HE should have done in the first place.
Man I sure wish I could spend a weekend in Vegas back in those days… Outside of the stories about what was going on behind the scenes, Ive never heard a single person say anything bad about old Vegas.
No he wasn't. His car got blown up but that was like a year before this first was aired and he wasn't in the car. He died a year or two later of a health matter.
