I've watched this years ago, but I suddenly realized during this clip that the reason House doesn't want Chase to chase (hehe) the Hep-C theory is because he knows that Arnello will slap Chase. Which also explains why House says "Don't even mention my name." (which sounds sarcastic, but I guess it wasn't). I really thought he was just yanking Chase's chains. I am stupid.

There is a reason why doctors & nurses work **as a team**--it's to prevent any one person from unilaterally making a decision or diagnosis that can or would be, ugh..."influenced", and the falsifying of patient records to protect a person's image or "manhood" would cost a doctor--ANY doctor--their board certification & their license to practice medicine. And the moment that "Joey" What's-his-face struck a physician, hospital security **and** the police would immediately become involved. In spite of what is depicted on television, hospitals take the physical safety of their doctors and nurses **verrrrrry** seriously, because if they allow one person to get away with doing this, then others would emulate him--sooner or later.. I'm not saying that such incidents **could not** happen, doctors and nurses have been assaulted before. No--I'm saying that such an assault wouldn't be casually tolerated. It. Just. Wouldn't. The difference between reality and TV: My dad had to have a liver biopsy in 2018. Beforehand they asked if he had any medication allergies and I had to remind him of his allergy to dilaudid. After the procedure he was complaining of nausea and being hot. I asked what they gave him and the nurse says, "Just a Percocet." I started yelling, "Percocet is just another brand name for dilaudid you morons!" I went off. It wasn't until my mom grabbed arm that I realized that every person on staff was calling security. And that was just for yelling. Imagine what actual physical violence would have resulted in.
