2:54 one of the most important moment in Mob's life. If Reigen didn't stop him, Mob could've developed a murderous characteristic after realizing that his power is absolute.

so true!!! while reigen might not have powers and he literally uses mob for his gain, he still gives him life advice and actually treats him the way he's supposed to be treated: a human kid. it's rare to see in shounen

Reigen's SEEN how powerful and fuck-off scary ESPers can be. This boy either has no fear of God, or his dad instincts are SO STRONG that he'll straight up toss hands with or bust caps in THE most brutal opponents of the entire series just to keep the kids safe

Consider: Reigen has both. He's such a good conman that he put away his fear of god AND will also throw hands with crazy megalomaniac espers just to keep his babies safe. It's my personal headcanon that Reigen visits Touichiro in jail on Mob or Serizawa's behalf and spends that time yelling at him to be a better dad to Shou.

@@linwong1494headcannon accepted. The Toichiro in the last arc has definitely been through a few Reigen special sessions. I would'nt be surprised if he was also -good friends- consulting with most of the cops there, bécause of his special stress exorcism skills.

He also seems to have low self worth which is definitely part of it :( Kids over himself, which is very valid and honorable but also gets sad when you consider how lonely and self deprecating he really is shown to be

It’s great that even after his development being humbled by mob, he’s still pretty cocky, and arrogant. Much more realistic than being just super nice

Even if Reigen is a fraud this doesn't mean that he doesn't care for Mob because the truth is he cares for him. Mostly after what happen in his career in season 2. He may be a normal person but he can make the most powerful person like Mob to feel Normal even if he's not and that's what I like about him. 😀

any pentester will tell you that confidence is a trait that will get you anywhere. People tend to not bother someone who seems like they belong, they know where they're going, and they're a superior (or someone they otherwise don't want to cause problems). His character toes this line where confidence, psychology, and a degree of psychopathy meet.

Reigen is the undisputed god of bullshit! 😂😂 🤣🤣 He a fraud master, but he's wise as heck too. Jokes aside he's really smart and uses his powers for good. He's basically a therapist and a good one to say the least. So, if that's exorcising people inner demons/evil spirits, I don't know what it is.
