I don't think any animation has ever made me audibly shout about how good it looks as mob psycho does.

My favourite thing about Mob Psycho's animation is just how experimental it is. It feels like the artists had fun with it, and that makes it very fun to watch as well!

Man Mob Psycho 100 is just built different when it comes to fluid and detailed animation lmao. Not just the action scenes, but also the comedy scenes have such amazing animation. Thanks for the vid!

Mob Psycho encapsulates One's art style which he is known for and gives it Studio Trigger amounts of beautiful coloring, shading, and fluid motion.

mob is the one no one relly wants to talk about because it would raise the standard on what animation and story quality truely is, its so good it brings shame on most others and has to be suppressed, only thing that i can think that answers why this show isnt shouted about like opm

is it just me who believes Mob Psycho 100 III will be the best anime of 2022?

The amount of eyecandy animation we’re seing this Fall is insane. Mob Psycho, Chainsaw Man, Spy Family, Bleach and MHA are all super high quality productions, with Mob, Chainsaw Man and Bleach standing out as just godly (all in different ways).

iv known since ep 1, this is some of the best animation i have seen

This season we have so many pleasing visual anime, but mob psycho always stood out for me, because there's so much passion put in this series. Like bruh, if it made by any other studios, I don't it will be close as this, because there's nothing there besides dialogue and the characters in the manga (no offense), so the team have to be in creative mode to make this series much more enjoyable besides the amazing story.

I saw some interesting tweets lately about kameda and other animators talking about how Mob designs are actualy harder and trickier to draw than average .To the point that bunch of animators were hesitant to join because of them. Its easy to think "oh lower line count so easier" but the oldschool pencil touches , purposefull roughness and executing simple designs soulfully is actualy an art that fewer and fewer animators ,even great ones, can instinctively do

Such a brilliant anime, the animation and writing are both fantastic.

I actually couldn't figure out why I love the animation so much for this particular series because I know it wouldn't work out for a lot of other series, but for some reason it works for Mob Psycho. The details you give about the camera angles, transition, the smears, & etc. This was so helpful for someone like me who love the animation without understanding why, but now I finally get it. Tellin you… gotta check out Soul Eater for some nice slice of life animation with some fantastic thrown in details to smoke or explosions. It’s beautiful. Not to spoil anything but a episode 1 character shoots pumpkins and when they explode they create pumpkin shaped explosions. Fantastic detail

Hey, nice video as always. I really like the animation in mob psycho, especially how unique it is, and how it completely escapes from usual anime sakuga, which is always a good thing to me. Talking about amazing and unique animations, one of the things I would love to see the most is my favorite anime-related youtuber analise the Naruto vs Pain fight, and the reason for that is because I see most people wrongfully say that the fight has awful animation, completely disrespecting the people who animated those scenes, so it would be interesting to see a great animation content creator like you say what he thinks, from a technical point of view, how good is the animation in that fight. Because then, I won't have to argue with people saying that animation is bad, I would just send them your video and it would be enough :).

When people tell me that Mob psycho's animation or art is bad I almost automatically lose respect for their view on media because that's when I know they're merely looking at the work on surface level. Probably took one look at the poster for whatever streaming service they use and thought it was ugly because of the character designs not being the clean line work they're used to but never actually giving the anime a chance, or worse went into the anime with stubborn expectations and not letting the anime prove itself because they've already made a bias that they're no longer going to take back.

Really nice video, I especially love the way you broke down the details in the key animation and parse through how much was actually going on in Fujimoto’s cuts. I wonder how he achieved the square-ish effects, perhaps a flat marker? Small correction tho, the animation director(s) for this episode wasn’t Hasui (he did do the direction and storyboards), but these two instead 舟羽弘美 (???? Hiromi) and 粟田香菜子 (??? Kanako, NOT Kanako Yoshida tho) (fuck if i could read japanese names properly). They’re also in the KA list so safe to say those two probably just animated most of the episode by themselves. Not about animation anymore, but I also love how the directing of this episode blurs the line between sneaky season recap and emotional callback. The part where Reigen told Mob about why he started his business, inserting the flashback to when they first met to remind the viewers that the Reigen arc happened, then fading it into current Mob’s face…and that part was anime original! Will you be doing more of these? From the title I’m guessing that you might be turning this into a series!

Mob Psycho is a masterpiece imo. Great characters, wholesome & heart touching story, badass action. Mob should be talked about more.

Also since one’s style isn’t very detailed so naturally I feel the animation would be fluid and the animators could be more flexible with drawing the characters because as I said in the manga they have fairly simple designs

Wow. I'm glad Bones really took their time with this season, really wished many things were like that but... schedules have to be met... I guess. Also, dude do what makes you happy but... I have noticed here that you are adding, sort of like a "time for a joke " scenes to your videos as a form of comedy, when I really liked more of your more " subtle jokes as the video went along " kind of thing like how you used to in the past. Well, here we have a hybrid of those two styles, actually. An example of a " time for a joke " to explain myself better is at 4:27 where an obvious build-up for a joke is coming; and even though I know you will use relatable facts to tell the joke, it personally feels like you are lingering the video when I just want to get to the information and move on. That is why I believe the " subtle " jokes are better IMO. 2:32 was great as you use comedy while also providing information that you came to provide, it feels as if everything flows naturally while 4:27 feels like that flow stops. Also, jokes like the ones that are texts where you have to stop the video to read them I like because I actually stop to read them. ( But that is just a personal opinion lol ) But again, you do you. I know you are probably experimenting, and trying new things and the channel is yours at the end of the day and you understand it. But I just wanted to provide some personal feedback. Best of luck.

dude how do u get the black and white pre animation ?

I know this is random, but do you know why they use green or purple outlines instead of just black, in mob psycho? I like mob psycho, but sometimes it drives me crazy or gives me a headache, because (this will prob sound weird) When I stare at something purple, it gets a green tint to it, same if I stare at green, it gets a purple tint to it. So it's like bouncing back and forwards in color sometimes and it's not pleasing lol. But I'm wondering why you think they did that?

I would love to watch this show or read it - because the animation looks amazing like you say and I saw the first few episodes, but sadly I can't get behind the humor or the characters. Props to you and those who can enjoy it.
