@Jeff somersby He has said many times that somebody came to him with the idea of the gas scam. So he never said he came up with it. What he did do was to organize it and grow the scam. The other families were involved but according to Michael he was the one who brought other families into it such as Fat Tony Solerno.
The facility looks amazing and I can't wait to come visit it. I appreciate the efforts that everyone on the panel put into this. Definitely agree the mic system has terrible quality, but you just have to roll with it. The panel members - I understand and can see in their physical demeanor the hurt/impact that this life had on everyone except the MC dude. Yes, you had power, yes you had lots of money, yes you had special privileges but the psychological scars on multiple generations both the person who did the crime and their victims are evident from all the speakers to various degrees. History is very painful and filled with death no matter what era. When you ask for forgiveness and find solace in God, and you remain repentant - then I see no reason to keep the "hate on".
I think this is the only interview I've seen with Franzese where he actually cracks a smile and looks like he's halfway enjoying himself. Fascinating stuff tho. Like some people have said in the comments, there are 2 sides to every story tho.
By the time Michael Franzese is deceased there will be hundreds of videos with him telling this same exact gas scheme story😆😂 I’ve already seen at least 10 for sure
Lol, yes he has absolutely "whored" out the internet. He may not be a practicing gangster but these people are still like crooks. Franzese and Frank Cullota have made a lot of money basically promoting bad behavior and thiefdom.
I mean if he doesn’t have another story to tell what else is he gonna say. Besides he isn’t gonna talk about anything else that the government can’t prove to get himself or other ppl in trouble. 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
All have very interesting stories. mike for most part been the one that served time in the big house and love to hear all his stories some I've heard.but missed being there darn it. Visited the mob museum once but need to see the rest of it. Love this stuff💪
My father was Moe's attorney and the executor of his estate. Moe was such a kind and giving man. Much of the growth of Las Vegas through the 70's was due to his foresight.
Great interview and discussion, Michael so funny. Feel that the lady was distancing her family from the Mob and seeing her family above it…not impressed or authentic whereas the others were very real, genuine, and very entertaining 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The old school Mob era is over.Nobody is coming after Michael....he has written books. And got saved.smart guy.Probably the only big mobster that wont burn in Hell.He aged gracefully too.Glad he turned his life around.
yes in my opinion too the golden era is gone but they still out there first thing that is not true that once u in u in for life there are known people to give in that life and walk away retire but he did take a oath and i believe u have to honor that i would guess im not around none of these guys or know any one that is this is from research i did i believe michael got a pass cuz of his dad but what he is doing now running his mouth they probaly regrete this they cant clip him now cuz he is to well known and this would bring the heat on whats left of these guys they probaly are trying to be low key is probaly top thing think about it if they really wanted to get to him they could because he still talks to his dad . and saying these guys are all going to hell is wrong i dont agree with the life they live but i am not god its not my job to judge them unless what they do hurts me and its up to god and i pray for them to get forgivness some of these people some really dont know better they are born growing up around it. but yes some are probaly very evil people
keith wilson if your a respected member and have no dirt on your name then there gonna let you walk away from the life but they say it’s forever because your always going to be associated with the mob this dude took an oath for the Colombo family who made him famous ? The Colombo family who is he talking about ? The Columbo family who are they asking him about ? The Columbo family when he dies what are they gonna remember him from ? The Columbo family once you take that oath it’s on you forever weather you want that or no
In the Valuetainment interview he states it was $280k in the butcher box......in this interview he says it was $380k in the butcher box. Which is it?? Regardless, Michael deserves all the credit for making God number one in his life!! Total Gentleman and much respect for his testimony.....thank you Michael for your inspiration and story coming from someone who can relate to it in many ways!!
I noticed the same thing but I figured the exact amount is trivial. You could expect him to remember that after so many years and making so many millions off that scheme every week.
@@helenclarke4735 No, i don’t remember every detail from 25 years ago. But every commentator on here would remember $280k or $380k. I think the point is when you start fudging your own story, it gets less believable. Is Michael a cooperator, of course. He testified against someone in court, for crying out loud. Michael twists himself into knots trying to explain his arrest, and subsequent parole in LA, without even mentioning his shortened sentence. And he’s always got a bs excuse for leaving the life. Sometimes its his faith in god, or it’s the woman he just met, or the life was bad, or it’s bad on families. But never the real reason, that he ratted. Fudge one thing then another, and before you know it, you’re John alite. Or in this instance, Michael Franzese.
The Cleveland family under Boss John Scalish sent her father Mo Dailitz to watch their investment and loyalties , other wise known as the skim. He was very influential and definitely one of the original mob developer's of Vegas, most people don't know he is from Cleveland and remained a member of that family even after they sold all their interest in the casino's!!!!
I'll never forget the video where I saw Bob Hope call Mo Dalitz a very dear and wonderful friend. It was shocking because I grew up idolizing Bob Hope and then I find out he was rubbing shoulders with mobsters.
@@vanmoody They all did. Get to the REAL world. They all-- Hollywood stars were into mob--related affairs , parties , sexual liasons .Do not believe what you see on the big screen. Read between lines of Jack Benny, Frank , Bob Hope.
you never know ! some of these guys were named after their profession or previous profession/job so its possible he was a butcher. either way he dont sound like someone you would want to meet down a dark alley or sat behind you in a car !
Thank you Michael for sharing your life story. I don’t know who my real father is? I do know he was in the mob & it’s heart breaking. I only asked Sammy the Bull but nothing. Now my Grandfather was very powerful. He went Through a lot to protect me. My BirthCertificate is false and it don’t match my SSI Number. I want to know so So badly who my father is. Can you help me?
FRANZESE,s story keep your interest. very intelligent man alot of what is is saying WE ALL SAW IN ACTION IN THE MOB MOVIE,s. That are out here..I THANK ALL OF YOU. FOR. YOUR STORY,s.
Too funny, Michael sitting there when buddy telling his uncle Louie story about how they can just talk to you and Intimidate you to pay, Michael is holding back what he could say how the shakedowns really went lol
The father Franzese was together with Marilyn Monroe and for that reason Robt. Kennedy , attn. General and brother of Pres. Kennedy hated Franzese Sr. and arranged his imprisonment. This is what I read, correct me if I am wrong Michael. And please add details.
Jens Thomas- Roth, her father was Morris “Moe” Dalitz. Very important man in Vegas, had very strong ties. Also, the say, he was somehow involved in the Murder of Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel.
when he was talking about the earners, said just behind gotti, you know mike was like, wtf, thats a shit list, i earned 10x as john..which he actually did LOL
This guys got balls like his father! The minute he stops making money for the boss he's gone... He's a money maker and very sharp..the only reason he still walks
@Joe A. relax Joe! What do you know his father or somethin? So your gonna tell me he doesn't have balls sitting there talking about this shit? I didn't say he was a good guy.
56:36 For the life of me, I can never figure out why Michael lies about not cooperating. Michael is as much a cooperator as anyone else. I suspect it’s the reason he HAD to leave mafia life. Can’t take it back now Mike, what’s done is done.
Sure that's why he left. He claims I never put anyone in jail. That maybe true, but at the very least his cooperation jump started investigations that led to arrest. He got 10yrs & done 3yrs. The Government isn't stupid. They aren't going to me manipulated by Franzese, even though he thinks he's much smarter then everyone
@@redarmy1778 my father didn't run with his crew he new a lot of people from Jersey I'm guessing the Ste stands for Steve and the c stands for cacciatore LOL what's your next question
if you watch the interview with Franzese on valuetertainement here on youtube , Franzese says 100% the mafia was involved with the death of JFK ( not saying that his Familly was involved , but the mafia was )
In another interview he talks about how he knows the mob was involved with JFKs death. JFK got his father the longest sentence possible because his dad slept with Marilyn Monroe as well which made JFK mad. And it was true how once he was elected he was trying to play the mob out who got him elected in the first place.
@@joshuasimber8588 , It was Robert Kennedy that went after Sonny Francese. Sonny told Michael that Marylin Monroe story. Robert Kennedy went after everyone and made a lot of enemies. He paid with his life.
@@pasqualepontiac.jrmalizia1225 He was in the mafia, got rich, ratted and got out of the life, is preaching the bible at events, speaks about the mafia at events. This guy is just trying to get more and more money. Funny that he's a preacher, preaches love money babe.
The story he tells the people, that he joined the MOB to get his father out of prison, is Hollywood character crafting. C'mon Mike...Even Jesus can't stop you from exploiting people for more money.
The woman speaks like she is deliberately trying to slow the words down, lol. I'm only half an hour in and probably heard all of Michael's stories so I'm waiting for the other two to tell some good ones. And once I start typing it just keeps going. Maybe it's because I'm laying in my room nearby the little fan that heats my room and I'm high as fuck, unfortunately.
Weird that he would call Vincent Gigante "the chin" and say that he really respected him ... Gigante hated that nickname and no one could speak it around him
april68 they pointed at their chin as do not to say his name because of wire taps. How else was they supposed to refer to him if he gave an order that was to be passed down.
@@mrfurio875 are you daft? In the video the people who know him call him "the chin"... and say they respected him. If they really respected him they would never use that word. They would just say Gigante or Mr.Gigante or whatever. Stop mixing up information. I didn't say anything any them not uttering his name.
Abc Def, no shit, she is so Fucking annoying. If you go back to the beginning the facilitator says she’s there, because the original 3rd guest couldn’t make it. Just our luck huh??
Now one things for @michaelfranzese actually we always knew of Cosa Nostra as for the Italian Mafia and not only that may be he should watch footage of the court case when they ask the Boss of bosses Toto Riina about Cosa Nostra! So again as much as he is an insider from the Colombo family may be he should learn a bit more about Cosa Nostra in Italia cause that's how we know it from back in the days and I am from southern Europe so let him stop living in the bubble of his life and maybe do a research a lil bit.
@Jeff somersby and btw he ain't a capo he is going around telling stories. He was a capo. And about the name in particular is a bit ignorant. So go and tell him that and learn and then you wouldn't need to leave comments below mine.
Lots of hyperbole happening, but that's what entertainment is. Everyone has story where someone was whacked by some tree that they pee on. However, nobody got whacked in Highland Park, the toney suburb north of Chicago that's for sure. The mobsters where pulling this guy's leg...
Cant compete story wise with Mike good video though would love to hear sonny on his thought when his boss perfaci daughter married Bononos son uniting 2 powerful mafia clans than watching it crumble when bonono went to italy with galanti and gambino, persico and gallo killed Anastisia
Michael Franzese was great as usual and Gus was okay but the woman's stories seemed to be 2nd hand in that she wasn't really involved with anything and appeared to be very drunk.
If Franzese really wanted to get his father out of prison he would have become a lawyer. So, Franzese is being a little disingenuous. It was really about the money first his father second. Now, Franzese makes RU-vid sit downs with Gravano, so clearly it's still about the money.
@Joe A. Nothing he has said is unbelievable. It was pretty clear WHO the Mobsters were who sanctioned the hit on Hoffa, the Feds just could not prove it. The Flea Market deal was not that big....no reason it could not have happened.....and what he said about Gotti meshed with what is always said about him. Franzese has got a lot of time in the Mob, in court and prison AND DID have a noted Mobster for his Dad.... easy for what he says to be true....he does not say anything crazy and h never tries to make himself look "great"!!
She is doing my head in!! She’s not relevant in these discussions as she didn’t hear any of it from her father so it’s even more than second hand given she got info from other ex mobsters “doing the rounds”…people she doesn’t have respect gor yet she’s living off it….but her voice…sorry that’s personal but she’s not dumber and waaaay to pretentious (and maybe drunk???)
He betrayed his oath by walking away, but he never ratted anyone out. While alive he didn't hurt anyone. He talks about people after they're dead. Probably why he's alive. That and he outlived everyone.
I think the biggest sin is playing yourself off as a good guy while still extorting money from people, just in a different area... If you have turned a new leaf, so be it.. But to thine own self be true. A Man is known by where he spends his money.. Where do you spend yours? If I'm wrong please accept my apologies...
