I think this is by far the best controller on the market if you value rumble. Best rumble on the market, bar none. Linear HD Rumble that matches that of the joycons, but is better because it's a bit stronger. Tested in super mario wonder, and you can hear the notes as you run over them. Also, HD rumble works on windows over xinput, really great in prince of persia. Also, buttons feel great, and it has a decent polling rate - 180hz on firmware 1.16. Biggest complaint so far is that later firmware bork the polling rate, as low as 80hz on 1.22, even over wired.
Yeah, get what you’re saying 👍🏻. Most good controllers have back paddles where you can rest on them and have enough tension to not accidentally be pressed though.
Great video so far still I’m the beginning I enjoy how I’m depth your reviews are keep up the great work! I’m thinking about it buying this but money is tight for me so idk
My issue with this controller is that you can't press the buttons and d pad very hard. I tried playing Sonic Superstars, and everything works perfectly if you tap everything fairly softly. Try to put much force, and you can't spindash correctly, and your rolling starts slowing down.
Last time i bought a high end hall effect controller, the input lag was so bad, its just a brick now. The sad part was, people only realized this several months after release. For most games the gulikit is fine, but for racing or fighting, its unusable. Im not taking another gamble on 3rd party until this is mentioned in the reviews.
Funny thing is my quest finding the perfect hal controller started when i was so dissatisfied with gulikit kk2 pro, the input lag is so unbearable on wireless
@@thenewbb It's great value. It has hall effect sticks (the bluetooth version) great build quality and a really nice Dpad. Only issue is the ergonomics are not for everyone but it's still comfortable if you have average/smaller hands.
what is frimware? lol. i know of firmware, what kind of of english is this. is it made in china or something. on the serious side though, i just want to know how the gyro performs on this controller?.
IKR, I let them off as most things from China have the odd mistake. I can’t even speak a word so they’re doing better than me 😂 Gyro is good BUT I’ve only really played Zelda using gyro so not used it in anger.
@@CTAtechdesk can the rear buttons be mapped in rewasd like on a few of the flydigi controllers? or only on the controller itself or with their software?
