I have spent time in Mobile and found it to be a beautiful city filled with beautiful historic homes and tree shaded streets and the downtown is very nice also check out the battle House hotel and the Catholic cathedral
I’m really trying to enjoy your videos but your stories on Mobile is very misleading. Yes the city is bad but it’s definitely not as y’all are placing it to be. Mobile definitely have nice areas but you first have to have an open mind to realize it
N very disgusting they sound more country then us but speaking so badly on our city. Whoever told them to go to Michigan Ave set them up anyway because that's the hood THE Projects even. Yea I couldn't watch once they pulled up to shells. I hated every second of there conversation. How u come to this city with so much disrespect and try to record it.. it's sad but it let's us know how people see us.. just sad
Ay u passed by my house😂 and stop dissin my city damn U need to get ur Mardi Gras facts checked Mobile was a thing before Alabama, Mobile was in Louisiana MARDI GRAS WAS MADE IN MOBILE
Jose I was the one you said you were going to message to meet at Dauphin Island to fish with and from Mobile.. but this video is insanely small minded plus that’s a bad area anyway.. there are so many parts of town that are better. And I know you don’t know but Mobile did start Mardi Gras smh
When ever I talk to tourist in miami and fort lauderdale they say the panhandle will be the new miami in 20 years. I think its cause they dont want to drive an extra 10 hours
I use to live in birdsville back in the 90’s and it was a black community that was forced to live like that and for y’all to make jokes about it is fucked up
Ok friend... I generally love your videos. Have watched many and even moved to Mobile from Florida last March. The area you pulled off into is an area that is set to be demolished soon to become the new international airport. The people living there are technically not supposed to be there anymore and are hold outs until they are forced to leave. The streets with State names are the hood. The beautiful historic district is just blocks away. Don't knock the whole town based on this one area you rolled through.
30:00 is the area I grew up in. It's kinda wild to see that there's just nothing there... except I guess for the Old TIme Pottery and the Bama Motel. And yeah the Bama's always been seedy AF; a little slice of 1953, including the mattresses. But there was an even worse flophouse, the Twilight Motel, that used to be juuuuust behind the Old Time Pottery strip mall there; it was absolutely wretched.
the twilight becames a strip club then it got torn down in 2018 i think. jerry that owned jerrys cabaret owned it. but he got rid of it and the new owners tore it down. i moved from mobile back in 2019, now live in Auburn.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Nice yall don't want sleep at cheap dirty motels with bed bugs. I hope yall do a video about hotel reviews: cleanliness, service, and price
Its one of the worst cities in America by homicide rates and life expectancy. You should be glad i even went there most Americans are terrified of that place.
bru almost everything he said about alabama is wrong😂” LsU iS BeTtEr” “Alabama isnt known for anything” “louisiana made mardi gras” and WHO TF IS HANK WILLIAMS
Michigan Ave is NOT the best part of Mobile by far (especially in Birdville where the streets are named after types of birds) unless they restructure it to accommodate mmodate the new international ti by onal airport opening in 2024. They actually used to have a Dunkin Donuts at the Brookley Field entrance. The streets (especially Broad Street) is being repurposed for the new airport and I even heard there will be new places to shop. Once you get past the malls, it gets iffy. My favorite part of Mobile is west of Providence Hospital on Airport Boulevard near the current airport. There’s so many shops and it’s practically clean.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS where I currently reside (just outside of Mobile) is in Saraland. It’s really nice and upcoming. They have their own school system as well as the 6A high school football championship and will probably dominate for the next two years since the Mr. Football (Alabama commit for 2024) will have two years of eligibility as well as having a young team. It’s growing fast as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if Saraland will be the “Eastern Shore” of Mobile County.
That’s what happens when you build in swamplands. I hear they are about to demolish birdville and build else where. I’m surprised y’all didn’t hear bullets flying around like I did in iraq
Y'all hating on mobile because how roll tide is not the better team man y'all just talking shit living a fairytale life. Who ever the girl is talking leave his ass this guy got to so fooled
Y'all are not from mobile the first place y'all went to was the hood a place y'all had no business it looked like no one was outside because people get killed all the time
@@bubbajolee Totally false Mobile started it and New Orleans followed years later try again when you have all the facts. I have the info to back it up if you want it.
