Im working on a Taxi Dispatch system at the moment. Being a former Taxi driver. I found this Tutorial would come in handy. Especially after reverse engineering my companies network traffic and understanding the under pinning code (Ethically of course xD) its fairly simple. Simple HTTP requests every 4 seconds sending GPS driver coordinates and Server updating the Drivers position and current status ie. On a Job? Availible? Logged off. You could do all this with Json strings.
You can simply set the *source* attribute for any *MapMarker* or *MapMarkerPopup*. If you want to make it default to something, I'd suggest making a new class *MyMapMarker* and setting *source="new_image.png"* in the definition :)
Erik Sandberg thank you for such a wonderful teaching. but can you please tell me how to show the users location using gps. I think you mentioned about it but I cannot find how to make it in the videos
If you understand object oriented coding in python you can definitely start making apps with kivy :) Learn from my / other people's youtube videos, or read kivy's documentation, or just start your own little project and figure it out as you go! That's how I learned, at least.

@@pascavlad351 There's no magic formula to learning -- if you aren't in a class, just watch some videos, read some StackOverflow posts, and try to make something!
