I have seen tons of setups, living in Zephyrhills and doing pest control 5 years, traveling Orlando, Sarasota, everywhere. Your the most advanced equipped but simple set up, you got the mytee, vx 5000, predator gen, geeeeeee, you are a sleeper of the detailing world, no wrapped van, no logoed trailer, but putting in some serious work, I appreciate the video. I'll have to keep you in mind I have customers and friends in Lakeland area.
You are so welcome, Im glad you like it! I have absolutely loved working out of this van myself. It has been so efficient and simple. I do plan on doing an updated video eventually, due to some even more simplified product swaps and changes over the duration. Thanks for your support, take care!
I’m glad you like it and appreciate the feedback. it has worked extremely well for me. Super efficient. I will work on a video here soon! Plus I had a custom made generator slide made and installed recently to. 👍
@@highlandsautodetailing Nice set up ! i had the exact same oddysey , very smoth until my transmisison when out ! Distance drive with to much water inside of a100 gallon water tank will break her down eventually , since its not a comercial cargo van. Looking forward to your 2nd video !
@@mattressstopla Thanks! Yep I did actually have the realization of the weight and how it shifts back and forth too much on the transmission. Fingers crossed, but no issues yet. So I since then have switched to mainly a rinseless set up. I plan on doing another van tour soon. Got some exciting new changes 😁
Awesome! I will help as much as possible, although I am very busy so I will do my best. And if you have extensive questions, feel free to reach out by text: 863-413-6022
I sandwiched the plywood on the bottom with 2 2x6’s bolted together making a strong base foundation bolted to the bottom flat piece of plywood with multiple L brackets. Thanks for asking. Take care
Apologies for the late response, its in this video in the description. Thanks for watching! Custom Generator Slide | Mobile Detailing Van ru-vid.comwEeuzIsOXEM?feature=share.
Purchased the slides and gave them to a local metal fabricator to put something together for me and this is what he did. If you order the slides and show a local fabricator the short video I made, he should be able to help you out. Slides are on amazon, link in comments of generator slide short. Thanks for watching, good luck!
Hey thanks for asking. I have a recent upgraded generator slide installed. It actually highly improves efficiency and I now have the generator exhaust pointed outside. Before I had to carry it in and out. I got tired of that real quick. I will post a short soon of my generator slide. Take care!
Of course I do. Pretty simple, Eliminate the source of the smell the best you can with deep cleaning, make sure interior is dry, then run it for 1 hour in you vehicle sealed. Then turn on the vehicle and full blast your recirculating fan for 15 more minutes with the ozone still running and sealed. Then remove ozone and air out vehicle. Recommend to replace cabin air filter as well. 👍
Hey thanks for asking. Yes it is, a 2004 Toyota Sienna with currently 185,000 miles. Has been extremely reliable since 140,000 miles purchased years ago. Take care
Thanks! Unfortunately I don’t have a set up guide. To be honest, i completely winged this build and it just worked out great for me. Simply some thick plywood as the base with some wood underneath to level it out. Made a wall with 2x6’s on each side of more plywood and sandwiching with some 3/8” bolts to make a sturdy foundation to keep plywood from flexing. Then used some screws and L brackets to secure it to the base. For the tank just decide if you want to do gravity fed or use a pump(harbor freight). If you use a pump, have a 2 way valve with a hose always directing water back to tank when the pressure washer is not running to prevent burning out your pump. Just a few L brass fittings and cut up some hose to make everything reach without kinks. You’ll need adapters that you can get from harbor freight to rebuild cut hose. Hope this wasn’t confusing, and hopefully this helped. Thanks for watching!
