Alot of mobile gamers are moving up to PC or console. I can tell pubg has been losing players. I do think mobile gaming is heading downhill, especially with the rise of handheld consoles taking off like the steam deck.

Yeah, I think it depends on where you're from. Mobile gaming in West is not that big. Since majority of the people will play on pc rather than mobile. However in SEA it's pretty big, lot's of tournas of mobile games such as CODM PUBG MLBB. Lots of people choose mobile in sea because it's more affordable. Building a mid range pc here in sea damn cost a lot.

Tancent games are pay to win. They are the worst when it comes to taking your money for little gain. Pubgm and codm are still free and very enjoyable.

Tencent should be mentioned here. Many games don't get enough development time to fix or improve. Think about pubg. It used to run in a 2gb ram phone but now even sd680 lags with 4gb minimum. Now think about pc the lowest requirements can still get decent amount of fps even now. Think about netease. When new comes out, old one gets shut down.

Mobile gaming is dying because developers care more about the money than the game play on all devices. Pubg mobile is free to play. But everyone knows that they reward players for buying stuff and try to get you to spend as much money as possible instead of fixing the game. Just look at the 3.2 update. Game randomly kicking people out in middle or start of a game when stupid robots come around and ping is way higher than it ever has been even with good Internet connection and device.All you have to do is look and all the players running around using esp and no recoil hacks and nothing happening to them. Almost 7 years now and hackers are worst then they where in season 6 or 7. By now there should be a in game ai system that catches them immediately and shuts them down. All they have to do is have a program that automatically reads the underlying data that all electronic devices leave when they log on.

I just think mobile shooter games should just make games in private completely then take out beta to patch things up then release games and old games like Pubg and Codm should just focus on adding more new stuff like maps and different modes so we always enjoy gaming. I'm a codm player and this game has been boring ever since last year. Nothing new besides new guns and maps for MP only. I play BR there's only two permanent maps then Alcatraz which is boring for Br players

The only perfect FPS game I have played is Critical Ops. Rest are either bad or just quick money grab lotteries with P2W elements. Also PUBG was great when it came out. I am sick of battleroayls. Its great for low skilled players. But its just bad, gameplay wise. TPP is another cancer BR games are infested with.

Mobile gaming is dead because there is nothing new coming out and when there is something new it is either cashgrab like apex or just p2w like diablo immortal and after some time it just becomes boring because you dont have anything new to play or even when game companies try to port some game from pc to mobile it takes so long and people dont want to wait like a 2 maybe even more years to play that game and what i dont get are those soft launches and other stuff just make global launch and work your ass of with bugs and stuff like that i know that people that can play the game only at global launch won't even play that game wich they were so happy about to play because it took like a year to global launch either they dont care or they simply forgotten about the game Btw im not english or american so sorry for some words which i written wrong or the structure of sentences im sorry for that💀

For me who has been playing pc games form when i was young And for me New game is something like a heartbeat for me to enjoy And when i shifted on mobile i regret buying mobile then going for pc so ya i want something new to Play and 5year in pubg and some years in another games so ya I lost all excitement to play those games 😂

Despite the successful purchase, all the items in the Battle Pass remain locked, and I'm unable to access them. 1100 CP points were deducted. On one side mobile gaming has grown alot, now +40% of the market share while pc and consol have around 25% each. But on the other side he is right. Devs are now only grabbing for quick money. I started mobile gaming in Celtic Heroes back in 2012/13 and stayed in that game for 7 years. Some of my old friends from that game still play it. During pandemic I landed in LifeAfter and stayed 3 years. Now I play Last Island of Survival since around 2 years. And ofc I done Cod on and off since the release. But now no new interesting titels are out. Most good games was released back in 2019/2020. Now mostly same chinese autoshooters following the exact same storyline and pattern.

PUBG is still P2W. They just do it via rigging matches based on how much you play and how much you pay.

So at this moment I do semi-quitting from mobile gaming to go back to some PC gaming and even retro gaming (also through emulators, plus I still partially acceptible with mobile rhythm games but something like I had been playing few Kpop rhythm games from Dalcomsoft (yeah that company really exists) and also I played some mobile game ports too.

PUBG seems to be too ordered in who wins matches. Basically premium membership players or potential premium membership players. Free to play but free to lose! You can virtually predict the winner of each match when the planes takes off.

My biggest gripe with these developers, is the constantly need to "attract new players." Free to download games are littered with people who have multiple accounts. Because games are tied to email registration. And you can make as many as your heart desires. Stop catering to players who leave the game after a week and start investing in the players who have paid you for your hard work.

Can confirm that PUBGM is a 1v1 or 1v0 every single match after using multiple devices to test and also matching with different guys game after game after waiting to fight until the final 2. So just stfu and wait till the game is properly optimized before tearing down the game… ps:keep the same energy when the game is fixed and don’t seek views by making content off it

Also sad that Sega and Atari gave up with making more consoles later in the 2000s and Dreamcast and the Atari Jaguar were the last of 'em. But those companies still exist today. Same with Bandai (part of Bandai Namco) and they also used to make their sort of obscure consoles and it's only in Japan you could find.
