Thumb Up just to watch Paul maneuver an extended period of work. Oh. My. Been there not done that, yet. Thank you. Stay safe. Remember that spray glue don’t mix well with lit cigarettes.
Thank you for stopping by and watching my friend. I hope you enjoyed it and we don’t smoke cigarettes while we’re under the house spraying that glue that’s for sure. Thanks for your comments my friend I appreciate you more to come on my Roofing Channel.
who you gonna call, no brainier... thxs for sharing...most ppl in trailers do not have the money to do it right or so it seems, this home owner understands the value of these types of repairs
You probably better than anyone would know the answers to these questions I have. How much protection from mice, rats and raccoons is the underbelly when it is properly done? and what is the best set up for the mobile home to be sitting on, concrete pad, concrete runners , dirt or gravel? I watch you all working under them and it seems like concrete might make it easier, and more space definitely would.
Do you have any videos of how to do the side section? Have to completely replace underbelly on my double wide, not sure how to do it where it sits above the frame.
drew is it common for a 2019 clayton single to have some soft spots in the floor? i with a good dry moist barrier?? is it just poor construction? settling ? also just the linoleum floors i heard u can feel alll the soft spots with it vs hardwood
That is exactly what it’s called underbelly fabric. You can buy it on Amazon. You can also buy it at Lowe’s hardware or Home Depot. That’s where I bought mine.
If I were you, I would put 3 inches of gravel under my entire mobile home. It will soak up a lot of water. You’ll be surprised and if you have room put a dehumidifier under there you can buy at Lowe’s for 250 bucks. That’s what I did.
If that is the only place you have to put the insulation because you’re underbelly is gone. Yes use the method that I did. What you wanna do is put blown insulation in there or you can just use bat insulation like I did. It’s up to you blown insulation would be fine, you can just put the rolls in it just like Paul and I did
I wish that there was someone around my area that did work on mobile homes. Because my wife and I are both disabled. We can't afford to pay to much to have new windows and the under belly replaced along with installation put back in. I did have my nephew replace the flooring and that is when I found out that all of the installation and under belly was bad. Now the plumbing in the bathroom is making a noise.
