These aren't really like anything in Battletech though? This is just a basic exoskeleton with either an equipped with MG and missile tech we already have, plus some kind of limited thruster. The mechs of Battletech even at their lightest way 15-20 tons, and stand 20 feet tall. If you're referring to clanner elemental battlesuits, then yeah to an extent, the ones used by the genetically engineered soldiers of Clan Wolf are similar to the ones in this event. The main advantage to a Battlemech though is that it can be operated in worse terrain due to its bipedal nature, and the lighter ones can both get moving pretty fast and also use jumpjets to maneuver over low hills and mid-size buildings. This allows them to get places tanks can't, loiter longer than aircraft, and bring a hefty array of lasers, kinetic effect weapons, and missiles.

@@satomonster568 these are almost exactly like Battletech jump infantry / infantry exosuits (they’re not quite to the level of Clan Elementals). I assume they’re saying they understand by Battlemechs absolutely wreck infantry.

You kind of just have to blindly press W and A or D, while trying to get far enough away to get them under max elevation, other wise you are just a sitting duck for the suits.

Do note how he tried to get in before going back the same way but in such a mess it's hilarious.

That's how using a tank in this mode usually goes lol. Swarmed by jumping anti tank mechs playing whack a mole behind buildings.

This happened to me in a T-80 and actually made me question my competence.

AA is busted tho, you can literally lock missiles on people

they basically have the other game that's based on inf and tanks, but it's dogshit imo, it feels like crap, dumb ai's all over with the ocasional player switching to them after dying, crouch, get up, shoot 2 times, get 1 kill, rinse and repeat. Feels way too mechanical compared to all other wwii fps games

@@LOMANDIN leg, head, ass, etc. are considered separate modules from each other, like an engine, a gun, etc. This is not an innovation, the usual mechanics Infantry in War thunder... a controversial issue. When there is enlisted. Maybe it will be given to BMP and APC for faster capture of points or with the ability to go out and mark the target / shoot from a grenade launcher. An armed analogue of recon micro. IMHO.

I recall seeing one unit using Spike missiles, the Israeli ones. And this actually does a decent damage modeling for humans that could be adapted to crew damage as well.

Top Tier actually sucks so much, just thermal and CAS everywhere. Enjoy late ww2 / early cold war tier, I reckon they are the best.

At least by the time you get there you will actually know how to play well and be pretty good at the game. My boys and I have been SUFFERING recently due to 9.7 NATO teams being 80% composed of people in premium tanks with no lineups, sometimes backups, and that barely know how to play. The Russians are also mostly premiums, but they have whole premium lineups of 2S38, TURMS, BMP-2M, and SU-25K.

BTW I really like this event it’s super fun
