I can't stop watching you bro. I'm gonna get a new electric ratchet soon and even though it ain't the best one i have, it could be your backup one for as long as it lasts. I'm just a diy backyard guy myself, done all my own oil changes and brakes/ other simple repairs. But anyway I've a decent collection now so I can't wait to give you what I can brother. Excited to learn more from you over time. Love from Cali. Sorry again for the spam but I'm trying to help the algorithm! 😂 semper fi till next time

Brother your not spaming anything man. Your showing your support it's fking awesome bro. Yea man I'm using a hypertouch electric Ratchet the bottom of the bottom and works great man. So anything is an upgrade man, also I was in Marine Corps Bootcamp with a guy that had your last name. I have never seen the name again till now

@semperfimechanic very cool! Also i hope your son is healing from his shoulders nicely and handling it mentally ok. I've had scoliosis since i was 17 and it's definitely hard to commit to stretching every day and get into the lifestyle of taking care of yourself. I'm currently struggling with that myself. But i hope he's happy man. He's got a good pops. Also idk about hypertough being the cheapest electric ratchet cause I have an Amazon brand Kimo and it gotten shitty reviews but i like it lol

Not sure if you have, assume so ? Nonetheless all mobile mechanics should Get a "commercial" acct set up at Advanced Auto and/or Autozone which there's 3 or 4 per every one Napa location.. And take that 25% plus commercial acct savings and put in your pocket and in most cases the more you buy they can and will even shave more off price.. I get platinum premium ceramic pads & rotors at flat rates regardles of make / model All Pads for 28.99 (retail $45 - 65 plus) Rotors 35.99 - 46.99 (retail $48 - 100) The mobile aspects is ridiculously convenient and has a value not technically charged and versus charging 25 - 35% MORE for parts like shops and stealership does I offer parts at Part store retail price and put the commercial acct 25 - 30% discount price in my pocket... aka the unwritten "convenience fee" !! Customer is happy, I'm happy...everyone WINS
@semperfimechanic
@semperfimechanic 10 месяцев назад
If the customer wants the receipt for the part, will it show the retail price or the discounted price, and if so, what do customers say when they see the price difference between what you charged them and how much you actually got it for
@d46512
@d46512 8 месяцев назад
You need a new policy that you set your parts prices. That's how shops do it. If the customer wants to supply his own parts, that's another story

Point. Abestos was outlawed 50 years ago for general use. However, industrial and commercial use for friction applications is legal still. To this day brother, most brake pads have abesto in them. Hear the term organic brake pads? Non abestos is what that means. I think. Keep that in mind when you just kinda wash your hands and licking that fried chicken grease off of your fingers during lunch time. Or olaying with your children.

@@semperfimechanic Put your jack around the back of the front seat. Picks up the whole side of the vehicle. Tools you used to do the front and rear are already set out for the other side. Then jack up the whole other side. Level ground of course. That spring clip you had for the front brake pads? There's little holes in the pad backing to install it. It helps to pull the pad off of the rotor so there isn't any undue noise and wear. When everything is cool you have to actually hold the brake pads in place while you put the calipers back in place. They use those wire clips because the "shims" don't have it built in like others do. If your going to do a brake job and you have a good working relationship with your parts store go ahead and buy the rotors and the slide pins for the calipers. You can always return them in your next parts pickup without going out of your way. If rotors become an issue you already have them with you. Make the call to the customer and if they approve it you don't have to load up the tools, use your gas and time to pick up more parts. You have them on site. Time management. Also inspect the vehicle from rooter to rooter and generate an honest call back. Serpentine belt, leaking valve covers, C.V. axle boot torn. Whatever. Your customer will feel two things. One, he pays attention to my car and two, he's generating income. They will respect both. Offer a coupon that says after X amount of dollars with them they get a deal on something. Fuck the bad customers brother, kiss the ass of the good ones. At some point you'll surround yourself with good customers. Don't forget, if you don't want the job, over price it. They may still call you back.
