Mobile Ordering Food at Universal Orlando! Best Time To Eat? How Long Does It Take?

When you go to Universal Orlando you gotta have fun...AND YOU GOTTA EAT! In this video I want to show you guys how to properly use the Mobile Order feature on Universal's app! If you're planning to eat at the Three Broomsticks or any other popular quick service spot at the parks you're gonna NEED to learn how to use this app because right now this is the main way to get food while you're on vacation. I came to Universal on two separate days to see how long it would take to get food during the lunch rush at some of the busiest quick service spots in the park (Fast Food Blvd. in Springfield and Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade). I've got some tips and recommendations on how and when to eat and even what to do if you don't want to wait in line for a bite! Wachow!

Thanks Vincent! Mobile ordering is more of a way for theme parks to cut down on labor costs not so much for convenience of customers.

This was a fun experiment and a good reality check on how much time a quick lunch can take out of your day at the parks. I would be excited to see this test replicated at Disney World.

I’m quite surprised that Universal hasn’t introduced a sort of virtual queue for these quick-service restaurants already. I know that kind of sounds like getting on a wait list for table service, but those lines just to get a table for mobile ordering can get brutal.

I love mobile ordering, and you can even put in your UOAP discount, but it's not automatic. You would figure if you have an active AP in your virtual wallet it should just apply it, or let you chose it without having to scan or type it in. The biggest problem with mobile ordering is if you have allergy or dietary requirements and need to special order. The app still doesn't accommodate that, you have to go up to the counter and talk to a human.

put me in camp 2. Ride the rides see the shows, keep your belly full with popcorn, hot dogs, and ice cream, then go home, drop the kids at the babysitters, and go out to dinner !!! Waiting an hour for food is fantastic when there is bread service, martini's, and no restless kids. !
