We need a comprehensive tutorial on using layout and position's %, EM, PX, Z-index, relative and absolute, etc. Shows us how these choices translate across different display sizes and give us many more use cases. This video makes some good points but this is a critical area and we need a Masterclass! Many thanks!

Is there a timeline for Multiple breakpoint interface in Thrive Architect and Theme builder? I run into more issues with top navigation menus specifically but would love more control over the page design without having to manually add media queries. I think it should be a radio button at the bottom next to the mobile button that allows designers to enable a set number of additional breakpoints. Then we can specify within the interface the specific width of each breakpoint. Then style and manipulate the same way we would do it for the default desktop, tablet and mobile views.

So I first created the page entirely on the desktop version. Then I moved on to the tablet before venturing into the mobile version. Now, owing to the fact that multiple parallaxes do not work on the smaller screens -- if they do, somebody please explain me how --, I had to use a slightly altered version of the image I used on desktop for the tablet version. What I do not understand is why this slightly altered version on the tablet imposed itself also on the desktop version. Don't you talk of the rule which says that what you do on the smaller screen does not affect the bigger screen version?

Hey why does thrive not use img tag but css background image property? Isn't it a bad practice for seo in terms of images not being indexed?

Hi Jay, you can simply add images if you prefer instead of background images. Background images typically do not need to be indexed anyways so wouldn't help you with SEO - Hanne

How do you work on reversing a column containing both image and text. When using the desktop both images and text look great alternatively. But when viewing on mobile, what happens is it shows the text, the image, and then the image again then the text.

When you click on 'columns' on tablet and mobile view, there is an option to 'reverse columns' that will fix it so it goes image text image text. You do that on the columns that aren't in the correct order.

some of my pages have a horrible overflow on mobile... i have used html, body { overflow-x: hidden !important; max-width: 100vw !important; margin: 0; } and it's still there, there a curvy scroll on mobile

Please contact our support so they can have a look and help you out. thrivethemes.com/support You shouldn't need any CSS code for mobile view. You can change all margins, paddings, background sections etc. by going to the mobile view in the Thrive Editor and make the edits there. - Hanne

Hi Youssef, it is not possible to add the Logo element inside the Button element. However, you can create a button using a Content Box, place the Logo element inside of it, customize the background color and borders, and then link it using the Animations and Actions tab. -Christine
