Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2「GBO2」: New Player Guide 

Would be nice to see some sort of multiplayer campaign mode, where matches are strictly Federation vs Zeon. Depending which side gets more wins after a specific timeframe, a winner of the war will be chosen. So if you pledge to the winning side you get rewards etc.

First gatcha roll for me was RX 78-2 Gundam. The inner nerd in me was rock hard.

Here's some advice for the newbie's. Swap L1 and X. It will allow you to boost and move your camera at the same time much easier than in the standard setup.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but is it possible to play it offline against AI? Judging from the game modes there's no Single Player campaign, which I don't mind, but I really don't like playing online with people, outside of my friends and none of them have a PS4

I love this game but there are a lot of flaws: 1.) internet problems 2.) the servers where teammates just gang up on you and beat you up -3.) English-

what about the clash, when you and another player melee at the same time?

I started playing this game, its amazing so far but tbh i wish health bars didn't always appear unless you are lock onto them. That and moving while scoped

could you make a guide to the melee combat, i just can't figure it out, watching everyone else slash multipe times and i only get one slash

Just one question: Do we need in-game currency to play matches? In the first game, you have 3 free matches daily. If you want to play more than 3 games a day, you have to top up and buy "tickets" Was that removed in GBO2?

could there be an explanation, why everyone in custom matches randomly gang up with the enemy and pick on low ranked players? it happened to me, 3 times. normal gameplay. then, suddenly...they make the capture points neutral and keep me from going anywhere.

Interesting thing...when I was stationed in Japan there was a game where you got into pods called Kido Senshi Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna. Which was hella fun, but when I look at this game it looks like it copied some aspects of it. Like attacking the base and what not, as well as how bases are on opposite sides of the map.

While I love this game I want to address a couple things. Pros. The mobile suits are awesome and I always felt even with the shittiest mobile suit I could make a difference in the match. The music pretty good, albeit a bit generic but it fits the games story. Getting out your mobile suit is awesome. Customizing your suit is pretty cool as well as painting them. It’s free. Cons. It takes soo fuckin long to get to stage 1 like seriously after the first month it resets and you gotta do that shit all over again, and at that point there’s no way of getting recycled tickets. If your playing a basic match, just leave your mobile suit and go to the enemy base, and you essentially beat the game. Although depending on your team choosing nothing but 500 cost mobile suit can set you back. The penalty is really where I draw the fuckin line, if you get disconnected or idle or anything you will be penalized and won’t get as much points despite how well you did and have no choice but to play ranked matches, that is after you wait 5 HOURS!! To get back to unlocking your daily missions. No voice chat, but I can understand that there’s command prompts and I’m sure a lot of people would be annoying in the mic, but that’s why you put in a mute button and use party chats. The other games modes are pointless and not as fun as the basic match. The newest released map is Awful, there’s no destruction to buildings so your gonna get stuck when trying to evade an enemy or heading for the base. Do not play space battles, it’s not fun at all. No real rewards for singlehandedly destroying their base, and saving the team unless you have encourage which you get for stage 1 and so on, that is if you can get it before the month resets, or lucky enough for someone to use theirs. Final thoughts I do still play this because I am a fan of gundam and love that they took a grounded and real approach with this. And it’s free, but god dayum it’s so Grindy, and slow, and a lot of the time I’m doing the same ol shit everytime and my team wins more often then not so it gets boring. Still though if they make another one I hope they fix a lot of these things.

Best advice to new players: play something else that doesn't suck

This game is a fucking mess and it's so sad. CONNECTION ISSUES RUIN THIS GAME. It's bad enough you can only progress decently in this game by getting victories, which is hard enough with the disparaging player base rage quiting mid match or dropping connection themselves, but the fact that if a game disconnects you get no xp or anything for your work, it makes the game damn near not worth playing. WHY WOULD I PLAY A GAME THAT KEEPS PUNISHING ME UNFAIRLY BECAUSE IT HAS SHITTY SEEVERS AND TAKES AWAY MY HARD WORK EVER FUCKING GAME?

Soooo its only PVP? No PvE? Sigh...

Oh no suits other than UC suits which by far are the shittiest MS’s? Yeah no thanks give me good suits like Exia and Dynames
