OK i did it. 3 batteries = 60V drive. Top speed is about 15-16 MPH. it's a bit unwieldy. understeers and is twitchy to handle; so it's perfect. The FWD/RVS switch gets warn, and the wiring gauge i used is dancing on it max current capabilities at full drive. Gear box / motor start to get warm, but not hot. Motor controller caps are rated at 60V so it's not a permanent mod, but a fun test. I'll put in a wheelie bar and do a follow up if this vid gets to 10k views.

18V batteries are the nominal voltage. At full charge they are 20.4V each, discharged they are ~16V each
