What would you do if you have drawers on both sides of your room and there is no space for mobile units? I desperately want to get rid of the drawers on the doctor side since there is no wiggle room. I feel like I am always bumping into something

Your realization is beyond what most of us dentists can admit - We bought them. Probably paid too much for them. And they actually get in the way of doing more dentistry! I feel your pain. _Sometimes_ you can shift the patient chair off the midline in order to get enough room (I know that us dentists love symmetry and so this bothers us!). Unfortunately, the reality is that those side cabinets were designed for those 2 room offices in the 1950's when nothing ever left the room (remember, back then things were "sterilized" in a glass dish full of toxic goo). There was no technology to mobilize...because...there was no technology!
