The hands gestures shows a lot about their playing style. Mochi is very organized, he likes the pulls to stay in order.

your tactics are very good I've been playing backgammon since I was below 10 and I think you didn't want the match to get longer so that you doubled it to 4 times.. well played both of you.. regards from Iraq❤

I kind of liked the bathroom break. It gave me some time to listen to the other players chatting and added some humanity to the video. As someone who has not yet been to a major tournament, it gave me some time to immerse myself in that atmosphere.

Hi, thank you for watching the video. The break is allowed only between the games so what I did was technically wrong. However, when you gotta go, you gotta go. lol. My opponent was very gentleman so he let me go.

Hello, Mochy. I'm Rosier, who enjoys backgamans in Korea. I'm going to record the video of today's game, comment in Korean, and post it on RU-vid. Please answer if that's okay.

23:07 interesting move... No need to run from 15 point. I would´ve closed the 9 point for blocking the 6´s... Stripping 13 and 15 looks akward due to the reason he will have to leave a blot soon anyway and his points are stripped now, flexibility is lacking. Homeboard is equaly strong. Think this was a small mistake, is it? But the closer I look, difficult desicion... Thank you for the video tough! :-)

I don't bother checking with the bot, but to me, it was a clear error. Race is only 13pips up after the roll so that 9p has a very good value. My board is a swiss-cheese getting hit is not fatal at all. Thank you for watching.

In the final game, I thought Frank Di Maggio should have hit more aggressively in the blitz. In particular, I don't think he should have let Mochy get the ace point anchor. I think di Maggio should have hit loose on the acepoint so that Mochy didn't have the acepoint anchor. Mochy's holding of the opponent's acepoint seemed like an asset that was just handed to him on a plate by poor play.

You are right. 1:03:50 with 65 and next roll 42 he should have hit on my ace point. My 43 play 1:07:50 was a big blunde to hit. I should have played either 8/4 or 13/9. I should have focused on backgame. Only now I see.

@@bgmochy Thanks a lot for your reply! You've really boosted my confidence. Actually, I was totally shocked and amazed by your hitting play. I was also disappointed by it since I assumed you were correct and that the fact that I would never play this myself showed how bad I was. Now, I find that I was correct about not hitting after all! (Against XG, I'm probably in the 5 to 6 PR range.)

Doubling cube. Use it if you estimate high your chances of winning. Thus demoralizing your opponent;)

Di Maggio is unbearable, ... he forces Mochi to replace his pawns almost every time. He is disrespectful and all of his pawns are crooked. I hate that.

@@mackenzieusher8025 what's this pr? You wanna win?just win in any way you can! That's all! Which one do you prefer? Losing a watch with pr 0.0 or win with pr 96?🤣 i prefer 2nd! You backgammon players always keeping your pr near to zero and i dont care to pr or playing like xg or gnu software..I jus play for win! No matter what pr i get! Just kill your opponent by playing like a wild lion! That's my opinion! And you! You wanna learn backgammon? Just come to backgammon-masters-free application and let's play! I'm sure you'll learn 199812387000 secrets of this game🤣🤣🤣 ok? Just come! Please! My whatsapp is +989148954358 Im waiting to you and all players who think pr is important🤣 Come one by one and lose one after one😝 mochy has created a new type of bg competition on his website which called galaxy bg or something like that ..they score 1 point for win and 1 point for pr🤣🤣🤣 I hate this kind of play! You shouldn't copy xg moves..I crushed xg by my own style of play in a long run! A 200 games match! I was 5000 and xg was 400! I sent the match file to phil symborg and he was speechless😝 im giving you a free lesson! At the opening move the 6_2 dice this way: 13 to 5! That was my gift to you😉

@@Joa8n I'll admit that Backgammon Galaxy's approach isn't a perfect way to determine who is the better player; but we don't have a perfect approach, because we don't have the time to play the number of games necessary to bring the luck down to a small enough factor. Although this new approach can be exploited in a couple of negligible ways, it actually works to make the game more favourable for better players, in the long run. By the way, Mochy may appear as a commentator on Backgammon Galaxy's channel, but Marc Olsen is the creator of that site. You anti-bot nuts crack me up. 200 games? Ha! Come back to me when you've played 200,000, and then we'll talk about how you match up against XG. Anyone who knows backgammon well knows that although we haven't solved backgammon yet (meaning the bots are not perfect), the bots are still better than human beings for most game formats (one man has been shown play DMP better).
