Like the mock up. Good plan. Air fryer no oven...there is just you 2. With the pantry make sure whatever is in there is not effected by the warmth from the fire
Oooh we haven’t considered an air fryer! And I absolutely agree we want to make sure we have proper heat clearances and a good shield for the tiny wood stove
We watch a van builder who always does a full cardboard mockup of the build. Looks invaluable for getting a good 3 dimensional feel for the layout. Good job. 🎉
You guys are making such great progress. The mockups with the pallets…genius! Sorry Meghan I would go for the double sink provided the sinks are decent sized although I think the single sinks look better. That washer/dryer in the one you stayed is nice, esp if you have kiddos but yeah that might be heavy and expensive. Go with the oven! Remember the tasty treats you made in yours? Plus you have a larger galley. How about a microwave? A small one.. too much? 🤷🏻♀️ Death Wish is sooo good! But pricey so a special treat. Looking forward to seeing the next video! ❤
We’re thinking of the oven! Haven’t really decided on that but with the wood stove we might be able to get creative without actually having the oven. I think we’ll end up with a big single sink if we don’t reuse this original double sink. And the washer/dryer is cool but not necessary for us. Thanks for the ideas!
Great ad placements! You guys are awesome. I just bought a '79 Airstream Exella 500 International. It will need a lot of work. I'm not doing it, but thank you guys for sharing, as it gives me some ideas for the renovation company.
It definitely felt smaller I think cause it was narrower and had the tight hallway. The double axles are definitely going to be a challenge for our layout but I think we found a pretty good solution for it
So many places! We’d definitely want to go back to all the places we visited in the van and explore the things we didn’t get to. And we still haven’t been to Colorado or Idaho and we want to check out what Baja is all about. Basically everywhere!
