Hi are these the stock presets or did you program those yourself as been looking to buy some presets for mine but no one is making them just the stock ones which came with it
Callum Clarke Hi, these are mostly my presets. But I didn’t program them from scratch, are used an interesting factory reset and I tweaked it around until it became a complete other character. I shared them also once in gearslutz. Check it out there.
bei 5:35 hört man doch ganz klar ein Delay? Ich hatte den Modal auch schon 2 mal. Und weiß das er relativ clean klingt aber er auch patches hat die durch modulation nach reverb oder delay klingen können. Trotzdem frage ich mich wie bei dem patch das delay zu stande kommt.
Some great patches there. I sent mine back within a month of purchase as to me it was somewhat lacking in low end, however much I tried to coax it. It probably didn't help that it was seated between my CS80 and Roland Super JX, both of which have enormous depth. I do miss it for looks though, perhaps I should have looked a their analogue 8-voice...

There seems to be so much hatred for this and the 008 what’s your views as you have a load of hardware ?and as there no longer available would you sell it to fund something else ?
Callum Clarke I will never sell both of them. I even think, that that the 008 is one of the best analog synths, extreme versatile and fantastic sounding. A lot of my vintage gear doesn’t reach the sonic capabilities of the modals.
Difficult question. I love both very much. The Modal 002 I prefer because of much more waveforms, a more flexible filter and the animator. It is one of my favorite synths.
Sir Taki thanks. I also own the VS. You are right, you can’t really compare them and the Modal is no substitute. The VS has Curtis filters and the waveforms sound completely different with slightly lofi what makes it sounding so unique. Vs is my alltime favorite synth. Modal has it’s own Charakter and is IMO one of the best modern polysynths with potential to get classic.
@@dmomcilovic9185 how to justify it? $5000 is a LOT!! I get that its a lot of voices, an analog filter per voice, that of course adds up, no way about it, so if thats what someone wants, the price is going to have to be there too...but some of these more recent analog and hybrid polys sound great at MUCh better prices.....does this have that many more features to make up the difference? is the sound THAT much better then a prologue?
@@marvinkmooneyoz. It’s only a 12-voice hybrid (digital NCO oscillators), with one analog filter, isn’t it? So, 4 voices less than a Summit, for example …
