MODAL MINUTE - COBALT8 Firmware v2 new filters 

Can’t wait to get this thing, it’ll be my first synth! I’ve wanted to get a synth for years but nothing has quite tickled my fancy within my price range, and when I saw this I immediately knew. It ticks all the right boxes. Been saving for the last year and I’ve almost got enough. Thank you Modal😊

I would love to watch a deep dive video about filter models, old and new

IMHO the most powerful part of v2 update are the new ladder filters! The sound of the synth was among the best VA with older filters and firmware, but now it significantly improved. I'd say to the higher new level. Those who have presets made before v2, try them with news ladder filters, it's something! Strange that still there are only a few full reviews with firmware v2 on youtube, although this upgrade gave "the steroid shot" to the synth. Very nice and soundtasty work, Modal, thank you!

Are you guys gonna update Cobalt 5s?, I mean everything here is excelent, just the filters and drive or distortion fx will be what that little one needs...

Please make a pack of presets in the style of the 70s - for COBALT 8

It kills me to think modal might not exist anymore as a company... really hoping you guys can revive after all of this nonsense, but i have no insight into the situation so maybe that's not in the cards. Well, I love my cobalt8x. The new 2.0 filters basically made it one of the best sounding VA on planet earth

Sorry , this kind of videos do not help anybody of your existing users, the speaker is mutch to fast for not native speakers and the background music drowns out all sound of the synth. Please make more simple videos with real musicians and no proffessional speakers.
