I’ve just modded my Rectifier today with a one mega ohm gain knob, some hours later this video comes out 😀 KSR mod wins this for me. Nasty as hell. Scary mod was surprisingly good though… Great riffing as always man 💪🏼
Hermansson on it's own / Mr.Scary Mod in the Mix for me, which isn't what I was expecting - thought it would be straight Hermansson from the initial play :) Good effort and great playing mate!
The Hermansson and Ground Zero sound the best by far, however the stock Recto does not need to hide! Put a good eq before it and cut the lows genereously, maybe add a bit output for a bit more gain, it'll be just as good without having to mod the amp! ;)
@@GERGOHAJEROFFICIAL It is souinding great as well, about what i can get out of my Rectifier clone with the EQ! :) The others are a bit more "3D" due to the enhanced high frequencies but all in all i would prefer the Hermansson!
More bass profiles man! Get them up! Bass players are cring out! ... Trace elliot, eden, mark bass, darkglass, aguilar, gallen kriger, mesa boogey etc etc get them up we'll buy 'em
Great comparision, I likeed the ground zero mod the least, Mr Scary is great because it's an easy reversible mod and it just cleans up the muddy sound of a stock Recti.
Rev F sounds best, very full and thick tone with great picking dynamics. The mods to me sound surprisingly bad, taking away too much low end and making the overall results sound flat and brittle.
