I jJUST GOT one of the last available radmini4s they sold- wanted to get rid of them douno know why- the bike frame is amazing and tall and even what it comes with stock is really good- expand just isn't the same at all
SO NICE....I actually want to do the Dual Battery mod to my Radmini 4 as well. I already got the 35 amp controller!!!! How easy was to install the 2nd Battery?
Great video! Highly informative. I bought the 35A controller and installed it. I did not get any speed increase but did get better torque. Perhaps I didn't set up the controller right with the color display that came with the controller. I ended up taking it off and reinstalling the original. Your Rad looks awesome.
Do you have instructions for the display settings screen? I've got the original paperwork, but never made sense. Not really sure what most settings do. Also, how'd you install the Bafang? I just ordered a drop in 750 replacement that will go inside the original stock Rad casing. If I got a Bafang casing, I'd have to remove and reset the spokes.
That thing is bad A*s ! Looks amazing with all the mods. Would any of those mods work on the Lectric XP 2.0 like the headlight and display panel without too much modifications ? Is it plug and play etc ? Great video Chris. Thanks
All those awesome mods and still has the same derailler and brakes. I had swapped out most of the main parts on mine and it is WAY more efficient now. Much more range with X-Bridge chain, new derailler and hydraulic disk brakes. Where did he get that crank? This looks great though I love it. Also where did he get the stickers?
Hey. Curious what you got and where you got the new derailleur and a bit of info about the chain. I've got to get a different shifting set-up going. I've already swapped to cable activated hydraulic brakes and a different seat. Never had so much trouble keeping a bike adjusted and shifting reliably, seems to be really bottom-shelf stuff. Just dropped a damn pedal today, too, crashed the bike. I was lucky, not going too fast as I rode in the snow and ice. Looks like it unscrewed itself which is a first for me in 50+ years of biking. Will be swapping chain ring and getting new crank arms and different pedals. thanks for any info.
Great video. I wish you would have explored a little more what he did with that plastic mounting "table" on his rear rack. Looking for good ideas or something to buy that would allow me to mount 2nd battery in a way that is not so ugly or obtrusive.
@ChrisCrossed nice! I have a radrunner 2, but it's a pain to get out of my apartment. I saw a rad mini 4 for sale near me for $800. I'm debating picking it up. Your video may have convinced me.
