I saw some of those animated signs at Roundhouse Inc., in St James MN. First time I'd ever seen one, and it was amazing how much life it brought to their night scene! Rather than their animated ones though, I'd liek to see them do a line of small plain white signs in various simple shapes. Not animated, but designed for decals or printed overlays. I feel like the signs that I need the most of are the simple backlit signs. If set on a building, that's easy... Cut a hole, place the frame and the sign overlay, and have a diffuser and an LED behind it. For freestanding signs, that's not necessarily as easy.

Nice work, I've been into PLCs since the 60's and I'm glad they've invaded the hobbies. Now how about moving the vehicles; some kits are available in the UK, if not here.

What's the website for the Arduinos?

The yanks seem to build really high quality, very accurate layouts but never seem to want to push the automation thing like their European cousin's. Where are the moving cars? Bicycles? Industrial stuff etc?.

Do you have any contact info for the person that does the school bus?

Arduinos are a pain in the ass.
