Hi Deano. You look lost in the shed. Hope you sort the damp problem out. As we've discussed in messenger my humidity is in the 70s winter time, I was told not to put that silver insulation up. My windows I never open, all I use are damp traps 5 of them. No problems as yet. So wish I'd done different levels, great hight for the bottom baseboard, gives you a lot of choice for the other levels. You're doing a brilliant job buddy don't get depressed. Thanks for sharing Deano. ....Pete....

Hello Pete! My friend I was working in the shed yesterday humidity was at 50% so construction started on the lower level. Feeling overwhelmed and fed up but onwards and upwards as they say. I think construction will take about a month or so. Thank you so much for your continued support it really does mean a lot to me. Take care Deano

Hello, Deano! I am sorry to hear you have had the moisture issue, but it is a combo of the lack of windows and the insulation. A couple vents should solve the issue. I do not know if money or shed design would allow a small vent fan or a small dehumidifier. Anyhow, I hope you can sort it quickly and get back to the happy parts soon!

Hello Anthony! I hope your well I have fitted two vents and so far the moisture levels are falling. I was thinking of buying a dehumidifier the same one Jim has from Hovermotion. Humidity was at 50% yesterday so a small amount of construction started but monitoring the levels closely. Thank you so much for watching Take care

Worst nightmare getting a "leak" but looks as though you might have nailed it with the issue being condensation. Sure it will all be fine and construction of baseboards can commence. 😊cheers Euan

Hi Deano would you like me to do another plan so you can see it on paper even if you have one at least it will be to scale. When I was in the other shed I brought from lakelands two moisture traps that use crystals that captures the moisture and is non motorised and that made a huge difference, but you would have to cover your vents because if not it will take the moisture from the air outside, personally I wouldn't have vents because if the air outside is a damp air like mist, fog it's going to get in to the shed, if you have a vent that you can shut when your not in that would help so you could open it when in there, and if it's cold when your in the shed have a bit of heat on specially a blower type that will move the air. When your not in the shed it doesn't matter if its cold there will be no moisture and if there is the moisture collector will get it. These little problems are all part of model railway and part of building it. Don't forget if you need help just ask my friend. Colin

That's so incredibly kind Colin and very much appreciated. I love the track plan you did for me I'm hoping to adapt that as much as possible. But I'm always open to new ideas. The vents are able to open and close as and when needed. Yes I have moisture traps and thinking of buying a dehumidifier very soon Thanks again Colin it's very much appreciated
