I think it definitely has a good chance of being tamiya French blue. People don't realize how much of a difference the primer makes so if he has a dark gray underneath the blue, it could be appearing darker than what it would be on a normal gray. To me it definitely looks like a tamiya paint but I could just be silly. Great video and great model! Danny did a lovely job on it and I'm glad it went to good hands!
This is a great point I hadn’t thought about. Danny said he’s very fond of using Tamiya paint so I do still assume it is French Blue. But maybe something I’ll try when I approach doing Edward and Gordon. Using a darker primer! Thanks for watching!
Thoroughly enjoyed this video! Editing style is so fun, & music is a VIBE. Loved the set work and running footage, really nice to see those low angles. I can’t believe TheTrainModeller held you hostage, I’m sure HiT will be very interested to hear about this…
you know, I loved Dannys work. I would constantly check out his account to see if he posted anything, so when he departed Thomas modeling I was very upset. But I am glad that most of his models ended up in good hands!!
Really enjoyed this video! It’s such a good one to watch with the chill vibe! Props to both you and Danny for this absolutely stunning piece of work! 💙✨
I think you could buy a spare D&D wheels from Bachmann parts departement. But Edward's works too. Danny had done a great work, looking for more videos like this!
It's a custom DvD. It says 5 years of Busted Buffers. It was something one of our group members made as a Christmas gift for all of us a few years back! You've got a keen eye!
Wonderful model of Thomas. Are there any plans to give him smaller footsteps, paint his whistle supports gold, his coupling rod bolts blue and make Annie and Clarabel models?
No plans to change this model. If I ever make my own I might do these changes. As for Annie and Clarabel. I am just using the Bachmann ones for the time being!
I have a model but it's not Thomas it's Tillie from The Little Engine That Could in 1991 she's light blue and was carved from wood but when drawing the dome and funnel for her face they had to be cut off and glued on the boiler. With them on that would ineffectual the cutting process meaning a number of mistakes would occur.
@@thomasthetankman111 Thank you nobody has ever done The Little Engine That Could in a model style. I don't think I can give them a motor nor ask you if you know how to make them not a block model.
