Great job with the Ruckstell rebuild and the video production! Saved this video for future reference in case I need to rebuild the Ruckstell axle on my 1926 Runabout.

Those solid axle shaft bearings are bad news. The rollers do not flex like the original Hyatt bearings which can lead to a broken axle shaft.

I was told that ruckstell axles in ford trucks all had a topside worm gear. This doesn’t look too different from a more modern’hoghead’ type.

The only disappointment in this video is not seeing it drive and operate afterwards
