Thank you for these videos. I am in the process of rebuilding my 1925 model t doctors coupe. I have not got to the transmission yet, but as soon as I get the engine done I will. I have just started pouring Babbitt for the first time. I started with the fourth main, and managed to mess that up a couple of times, but learned a lot doing so. This next time I know I will get it right. One of the neat things about Babbitt is when you mess it up you can just melt it out and start over. Then it will be on to the main bearings and caps. I have a line boring jig for the mains, and own a machine shop, so boring the fourth main will be easy.
