Yes, the runway trend nowadays can go for naturally walk type of things. But honestly, many runway model fans (may) admit that O0s models era right during Gisele Bundchen and Carmen Kass with their horse stomps (focused on legs as Yoonju said) still being considered the golden era (type of walk) of models. Nowadays models are pretty much bland compare to the mid-00s if they still preserving their natural walks. Edit: Serious matter, if I even have to write models direction. Top points on my board will definitely No natural walks and Remove that swag whatever is that. It is freaking fashion show, and I want a DRAMA. Not you rushing to the supermarket in the common pedestrian.

I think her 90s walk was more late 90s to early 2000s, when Gisele Bundchen became the It Girl, and popularized the horse strut. Early 90s was more or less a follow up of late 80s, but with established names, and, of course, thr classic twirl at the end of the runway. Mid to late 90s was the heroin chic and grunge era, so the walk became very toned down and demure, or straight up butch-like, with models stomping down the catwalk. But of course, it really depends on the designer and model.
