It is cringy as hell that some of international kpop fans knows nothing about the industry but saying those models dont follow 'Korean standard beauty' and entitling it as some true and pure beauty in Korea. Those eyes, facial structure is the what WESTERN designers prefer from Asian model, that's why all those Korean models always have small mono eyelid, big chick bone. It is just ugly side of western model industry that strictly limits with models in terms of their faces and bodies just like Kpop industry but with different kinds

In some other videos showing Korean models, I saw comments about how the models don’t follow the typical “Korean beauty standards” that a lot of international fans of Korean entertainment think rules over Korea 24/7. I noticed a lot of fans have these lists of traits in their mind and legit think if you don’t have these exact traits, you are not beautiful in Korea. I hope this video shows that things aren’t that one dimensional, and you don’t really know what a country is like exploring a few areas of it through the internet. Just like how Instagram model beauty isn’t the same as high fashion runway model beauty in America, it’s the same in Korea. Korean models in general have a very striking beautiful look, most have monolid eyes with impeccable facial bone structure. I’m half Korean and my two Korean cousins both have this sort of beauty and they are always recommended to model, in Korea and in the States. I think that look is what attracts high fashion designers. And I find it cool how a lot of top models right now such as Sora Choi started out from Korea’s next Top model, which really does a lot in training and teaching the models.

This proves that to look attractive all u need is confidence, because most of them don't really match the Korean beauty standard yet they all r so attractive, fierce and beautiful. Edit: 1.1k likes!!!😲😦😱i have never got so many likes before this 🤧

Why do people think the whole of south korea revolves around kpop and kdrama? South korea is just like any other country with its beauty standards..are all the successful people in korea gorgeous? I think Hyunji Shin is the most versatile out of all female models. She’s got the look where can walk serious A-list runways, do high fashion editorial campaigns but also shoot more commercial stuff too like beauty brand campaigns and brands like H&M and Zara.
