Generally very good, but he tends to joke too much with people at the front. You have to avoid making the show be aimed at literally one guy at the front. But that’s nitpicking, he comes across very natural and normal which is awesome for a guy in his position.
@Clark Kent Elon himself spoke about ending to name the Model 3 the E, but he couldn't get the go ahead. He planned this all out years ago. If you're going to take over an already established industry, you've got to be visionary. And visionary he is.
@@Kwint. Fr. He has already put a Tesla in space cause a block of cement was too boring. I could totally see him sending a model Y to Mars as a test load as well
I always wonder why he struggles with public speaking. I'm thinking its possible his mind is a lot of places at once trying to put it all together for us
Probably why he occasionally comes up with some outlandish statements, promises Tesla can't match and triggers some SEC investigations. Oh but yeah, genius and all that...
Elon Musk: Hosted Meme Review Makes Cars Has Humor Edit:Thx for the likes can you bother subscribing and recommend what I should make?I want to make money when I’m young so I can help myself and my family
It’s very interesting to see Elon stutter but not having it effect him. It makes me feel better when I have a presentation or talking to a crowd because I have a hard time talking to a lot of people. It makes Elon seem like you are listening to just a regular person and I think that’s pretty cool :)
Ya can’t prepare against stage fright. He may have prepared what to say, but he clearly is nervous. This only decreases with continously doing presentations.
In his biography he stated that he doesn't have the time to make speeches. Maybe this is a pretentious statement, but to be honest, I'd much rather catch a break as opposed to standing in front of a mirror and practice a speech for 30 minutes or whatever
I'm pretty sure in this moment, Elon is creating his own Iron Man suit in his basement, with a real AI and flying exo suit, and won't tell anyone until it's ready.
@John Was it Ford or GM who did not want Tesla to make Model E so they had to switch to 3? And it was Elons thought all along to make the automotive industry sexy. :p
@@ijarbis187 I am pretty sure it is not that simple If you scale both the battery and the charger up then it is the same as a small charger and a small battery
Do you guys realize that the girl that rides the Tesla Roadster at the introduction screams "HOLY SHI-" and then the Tesla "T" logo pops up... Nice Elon
More like 15 years. 200-300 is more than anyone needs. The key is super fast recharge time. If you can recharge your entire battery in 15 minutes no need to carry a huge battery. Smaller battery, faster recharge time
@@archfxt3619 yeah, but gas cars wast 80% of that energy in heat, while eletric cars wast less than 30% of energy in heat. So even gas have more energy, eletric cars will have better range.
He's talked about it before, his thoughts are so fast-paced and high-volume that he can't turn it off. It actually causes him heavy stress. I assume when he's talking there are a billion other ideas running through his mind.
Yeah, it's a shame. I'm convinced Elon wouldn't have nearly so many haters if his fans weren't so annoying. It's a vicious cycle. The more hatred that gets thrown his way, the more mindless adulation his fans heap on in an attempt to make up for it, not realising that all that does is inspire more hatred from people who are taking their disgust with Elon's fans out on Elon. And Elon doesn't tell them to get a grip because he's doesn't want to be rude to people who are being nice to him when he's got so many people being horrible to him, so it just escalates and escalates. It's got to be seriously disorientating to have people treating you like a god on one side and people treating you like the scum of the earth on the other. I hope he's got plenty of sensible friends to help him keep things in perspective.
This is actually so refreshing to watch after the daimler annual report. So honest, pure and just authentic instead of diplomatic BLABLABLA in suits and talking about "transformation" while just missing the train by far
I really like him to but you really should read his book. He isnt necessarily the guy he looks he is. He regually fires employees who helped him a lot when he was younger, he also makes it look like most of teslas inovation are his own ideas even though they arent. He was such a bad ceo at firat that he got dropped out of paypal. Regually screaming at his employees. He works 24/7 and thinks every person should funktion like this even though his private life is clearly messed up which you can see by the 3 marriages he had so far. He is a genius no one can deny that and he still is my favorite ceo but he also isnt the saint many people make him out to be.

I dunno if humble is the word I would use, but he seems like a genuinely good person. I think he might have autism to some degree. Despite being very successful, he's still socially awkward. This isn't a dig against him at all, just to be clear.
@@jacobkuca7711 Sure, it is particularly impressive when he tries to make a cave rescue operation all about himself and then calls one of the original rescue coordinators a pedophile with no evidence. He is a real charmer.
That basically means that Tesla is going to gain more popularity in the future because then the current meme generations has grown up and can actually afford to buy their cars.
Question: "how long will it take?" Normal guy's thought process: "not much". Normal guy's answer: "not much". Musk's thought process: "Are we talking about 'long' as time or 'long' as length, or 'long' as a data type? I assume that based on how the question is formulated he is with a high probability referring to the unit of time, but which unit would that be? Are we talking about seconds, hours or years? Should I ask him that? No, that is weird, let's stick with months. So based on the context I guess that with 'it' he is referring to the delivery of the model 3, so the calculation of the estimated time of delivery should factor in Baynesian probability of failure of any point in the supply chain and manufacturing accidents, which if I remember correctly... Musk's actual answer: er... er... uh... (looking up) er... I... I... thi-think (looking at the interviewer) 458.38 mo-months.
Behind the scenes at Elon's Joe Rogan podcast: Joe: Hey I've got some DMT. Do you want to try? Elon: Sure. And while where at it you can help me designing this truck I'm working on.

However, he did not open-source the Tesla connector. Any other company who wants to use the Tesla connector would have to pay Tesla through the nose in royalties. In that regard, I like to think of the Tesla connector as being to the electric vehicle industry what the Lightning connector is to the cell phone industry; the only cell phones that can use the Lightning connector without paying Apple through the nose in royalties are iOS devices. Similarly, I like to think of the J1772 and CHAdeMO connectors as the MicroUSB and USB-C of the electric vehicle industry.

@@QuadLogic126 I actually prefer listening to Elon Musk. He speaks from his mind in an unscripted way, and has a brief idea of what he will talk about. It's more relatable imo, but people do like scripted professionals to talk. After all, it's good to have the guy behind it most of it come out and talk.
@@moneycat878d5 Yeah, true. I'm an engineer and my public speaking is horrendous as well so it's relatable but still hard for me to follow where the speech is actually going. Typically from my experience the engineers that are good at public speaking aren't the best engineers and vice versa.
An average car idling produces about 2kg of CO2 per hour. An average person produces about 1kg of CO2 per day. You really think the emissions a combustion car produces even if you kept it running for an hour means anything in a growd of 200 or so people? There is good enough airflow to keep the air fresh for the people, one car running on top of that is basically nothing. More to the point, in shows like these the car would be running for maybe 10-15 seconds, making the emissions actually meaningless.
Elon has to be the greatest mind of our age...Not only a genius in terms of engineering, but also just being a memelord and overall marketing strategist in general.
@@Hyperus I feel like that is the reason why his company never made money, never fulfills deadlines and he lies to the point of being in legal trouble. He is a deceitful dreamer, nothing more. I appreciate the thought of giving everyone access to their patents and trying to move the automotive industry forward, but he is doing so many mistakes. Also, completely ignoring the heavy toll electric cars have on the environment, especially in the backwards US, where way too much energy is being produced with fossile fuels, as well as shouting down other, better concepts like hydrogen-powered cars, which as of now are absolutely atrocious when it comes to the environment, but could be the only way in the future, just makes him seem really unsympathetic.
