Finally a Solidworks tutorial where the uploaded speaks! So many great models in videos but time lapse and silent and so frustrating for a beginner, especially a beginner who isn’t exactly computer literate to begin with. For guys like me fooling around with engines our only limitation is the engine casing. Exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thanks! Would love to see more of similar content. 👍

what's the gear ratio? I have to make a 45:1, could I do that with this?

Why not convert entities, instead of going manually in a more dodgy Mannar? Even thou since the entities are joint and form a single component it does not really matter

Convert which entities? the gears?

@@with-Aryan no when you want to close that gap, you create the patch you want to create by hand, first you make a straight tangent line, I think the other side could just done by converting entities, what about a rib over there to cover the GAP?

@@avitolourenco yes you can, however, since I had chamfered the inner edge with a rather small value, picking the right line was not that comfy so I took the easier but less correct path. The point was not to teach that. As you can see, this video are for people like yourself who already know the basics of solidworks and are more after how to do the modeling.

@@with-Aryan Yeah but I am not able to understand some dimensions clearly...So can you send a 2d file sheet in which all the dimension is given through mail?..or can you send the parts through mail so that I can take help from that...
