seeing alot of addons breaking with new blender versions and addon devs cant keep up with all the versions so you really have to pick and choose wisely when you get that new hot blender version and keep your old one before really going to it.

May God bless you first and greetings from Nebraska. I bought your ebook called Blender Secrets, but it asks me to enroll in the course to access the content and I don't know how to do it. I was able to download the videos, but the images, I don't know how to do it. I'm on the lookout to buy the hard surface ebook. I hope you can help me and excuse my ignorance.

It would be nice to get a tool for drawing 3D graphics. For example, we draw a 2D sketch on the viewport using lines, after which we press some button - a 2D polygonal mesh is created, with spontaneous triangles. Using a regulator, a slider, we create volume, a flat model. After everything, we do retopology. The main thing here is the artistic part, where you can draw the profile right away, having artistic skills. Thus, you can quickly create any complex 3D blanks.

Creating the volume would just be the extrude tool, wouldn't it?

@@darrennew8211 Yes exactly. Also, we need to make an option - how to extrude, like a spherical extrusion, or like a square one.

I would repeat what was said extrude might be all you need, but also I just saw a new tracing add on that let’s get fantastic geometry from black and white images. where it really shines in generating really nice meshes. It’s called trace genius.

@@aivar242 Extrude, or spin. Lots of these tools are built in. None of them will give you exactly what you want on the first try without further editing, most likely.

Retopo might be a good thing to look at too, if you are unfamiliar. There is a program out there that specifically does what you are describing. I am blanking on the name, Before all this ai stuff it was getting a lot of attention. I found it searching for 3d model from image. The examples are like animals and stuff. Sorry I can’t remember more. Edit: Found it, It’s called monster mash.
