You have inspired me to update the transport system in my pickup and camper arrangement. Wings laying on those white rails is a really bad idea. One hard brake in traffic will have them crashing around in the van. The foam cradle with the wing slots laying in the tray is a better solution. Some type of tie downs, soft bungy cords or something can't hurt either. Hope you get you're MoJo back soon. Thanks for sharing this.
Thank you, I am really enjoying it, haven't used the chop saw and circular saw in must be 20 years, amazed they still work and I remembered how to operate them. Might buy a new blade though. That 12mm ply was heavy going, and the floor is 18mm!
Hi Dave, I am terrified of drilling a hole in the roof TBH, the van is still under warranty. The van is a dark colour and I have heard that the panels can overheat without an air gap. I am using the van as my main transport and don't want to restrict my access to car parks etc by raising the roof line.
