MODERN CABIN NESTLED IN THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and featured in Savor Magazine as one of the "Best Places to Go Glamping in Virginia," this cabin is a respite from the busyness of life. Located on 2.5 acres backing onto a mountain stream, our cabin is minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Glenwood Horse Trail, countless hikes, and several ultramarathon courses. Our cabin is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and people from all backgrounds are welcome.
The space
At just over 300 square feet this "tiny house" is both quaint and surprisingly spacious boasting an open floor plan and cathedral ceiling. The cabin accommodates 5 people comfortably, queen bed in loft; bedroom with 3 bunks. Can accommodate 1 or 2 additional people on the pullout couch double bed.

You always manage to fine beautiful little houses! I do wish you could video like a “walkthrough”. Come in the front door and take in the whole space before concentrating on the details. It is hard to get a sense of how the rooms flow, or what the layout is like. Overall, I enjoy watching your posts, with envy. 😎

I didn't see a closet? I saw the ceilings in every room, more than once and a clock, a picture on the wall, cups hanging on hooks, the stove pipe a few times, but no closet or dressers. It's so fustrating that the whole lay out isn't shown correctly. It took 5+ minutes to see, what could have been a 2 minute video.

The outside of this home is extremely attractive. One of the best I’ve seen. But the interior is kind of ruined by that shoddy IKEA-ish sofa and light above it, as well as the trendy but Not practical all-open shelving in the small kitchen area. Pan- photos are also trendy, but can be overdone.

....I was thinking that as well. Looks inviting from the outside, but poorly laid out, and who wants a ladder right in front of thier kitchen area... ???!! Yes, shoddy Ikea furniture and a poor layout.... = not as nice on the inside.

@@twistoffate4791.... when you look at things with an eye on what is going on in a space, rather than " being taken in , by the surface stuff"....then you see the design flaws and poor choices of furnishings, etc. Perhaps that IKEA sofa was all they could afford..; okay, fine.... then get some beautiful blankets that match, to lay across it like I've seen done and make it look nice. But the layout is not good, that wasn't well thought out.

The house looks really big on the outside and yet the loft is low, you should have done something with the roof to create more space, if only on 1 side (slanted roof or smth). We didn't get a really good look at the bunkbedroom but that seemed interesting. We didn't get a good look at the shower, or washing machine, but we got 1000 shots of the black clock and the stove... wasted time, you could have arranged that differently. The white interior was welkom to give more light and a feeling of space, but I see a lot of room for improvement.

you need to put some sort of fire resistant barrier on the two walls behind the fireplace. my guess is that without it, the wall could get very hot and become a fire hazzard.

I really like this house. The three bunk structure is super clever. I also love that the loft is high enough in the center that the bed can be of regular height & one could sit up in it. You spend rather too much time scanning the couch tho.

Not sure where you are from - I am from the US and I know there are restrictions here - that vary state to state. Houses can be no smaller than 500 sq. ft. I think that's why a lot of people build these and use them either as RVs or rent space on someones private land or on a relatives private land (all illegally). But if you are to buy land to build a house on it, there is a size quota. Sucks.

Love the outside but inside could do with a redesign just my opinion nothing else. Don’t like the shower door facing the living room and there’s a lot of wasted space that could be used for storage which is sorely lacking in this small house. Very pretty colors though.
