I've had this for a couple of years and is hands down my most used sling. I prefer it because it's compact and really sleek. I do feel sometimes that it looks like a man purse on me. It's a great pocket reliever and keeps essentials safer than actual pockets especially when wearing sweats and shorts or even when there are no pockets like swimming trunks/board shorts or pockets are too small. You do have to limit your carry to basic essentials. My typical carry with this is a max iphone, a regular (thick) wallet, coins in the stretch divider, airpods pro in the other with a key fob, passport and a pack of cigs in the hidden compartment and there is still some space for smaller items quite possibly one of those magnetic powerbanks that work with magsafe. What I don't like is the strap management and the strap loosens up on its own with just regular slinging. After having it for so long there are some cosmetic damages and some stains on the inside but it's still great, can't justify getting another just for those reasons. Maybe if modern dayfarer came out with an ever so slightly larger one, it would be cool if they offered different sizes the magnetic flap just works for me and is fantastic for single handed use to quickly grab something and put it back in even without looking.
Wow! Love this breakdown man! Appreciate it for taking the time to write that! I agree! But I think if you paired it with like an all black fit it would look soo good however, I’m in like sweats 90% of the time so doesn’t fit well with my colours 😅 yeah I also agree you do have to limit your carry if you’re someone who generally carries a lot. But the plus side is so quick to access so it’s fast and compacted. I hope to see a version 2 soon and hopefully, if it happens, it could be featured here. 👍🏻 thank you Michael for the comment too
This won’t fit the iPad mini unfortunately, but there is a new version 2 coming that I think will. The front really didn’t scratch up too much cause I do my best to take care of my bags. Hope that helps 👍🏻
Tbh I think it will fit but it will take up all the room, pretty much like a size of a regular bottle of water. I tried it and it’s pretty tight after waters so definitely not ideal for this bag. Although if you have a bottle with a clip you can get a carabiner and attach it to the strap 👍🏻 hope that helps
