So here Ingestion = staging Data factory = ETL tool Azure synapse analytics = data warehouse Azure analysis services = cube @nags - please correct me if I'm wrong here

storage blob in azure - Can we consider this as an equivalent to staging server in SSIS-based architecture?

It is slightly different. In staging again data is in relational form, where as data lake data stored in its raw form excel as excel csv as csv

True. Your data resides on cloud then Azure analysis service is your choice for cubes
