Rico apparently had his very first kiss on the show. If you haven't rewatched the first few seasons, FYI- i recommend that you do. You would have missed several jokes as a kid.

For a long time in my life this family felt like MY family. My parents weren’t around a lot as a kid, absent mother and working father. It was often me and my brother alone growing up, but whenever this show came on.. I felt like my family was visiting me. So many good memories.
My family was always present but i still felt suuuuper lonely as a child (for some reason) so they also felt like a family to me and always warmed my heart when i felt alone.
Can we get at least some special reunion episode every holiday like Christmas, thanksgiving etc. ? Or a spin off from Mitch and Cam, Alex in Switzerland, Luke in Oregon, maybe Haley 12 years later with her kids :))
Have you seen the final episode? I think Hayley and Dylan were meant to be. Also the episode where she's like when I see a life with Dylan I see happiness and it's her explaining how much she actually lives him. They're way more compatiable

What made modern family so great is that there really was no single main character. Every character was so perfectly crafted and played, and they all came together perfectly to create a hilarious and engaging show. It's not like some shows where some characters aren't as fun to watch as others. It never mattered who was on screen at a given moment; It was funny and entertaining from start to finish.
I'm watching Modern Family on Netflix and I'm not American and seeing how the show has helped others to grow up, makes me feel like I wish I could've been part of the experience to grow up because of how wonderful it seemed and even as I watch through the episodes (in season 6) I feel like I'm getting to watch them grow up which really means something about the family. Seeing this show has made me happy. Modern Family, it's gonna be tough to say goodbye when I get there so, see you later alligator.
I still cry about 8 different times throughout the series and what hurts more is you end one episode when the kids say they are all leaving and then the next episode everyone leaves. It doesnt give you enough time tk recover. Then on top of that jays narration over the panning of the photos is a gut punch
Not technically, the first two years were done by a set of twins, that their mother pulled them out after season 2. Audrey who.is the actor that is on now has being since season 3, so about 8 years
Thanks to Disney+, this show is perpetually playing at our home. I'm pretty sure we've watched it through more than 10 times now. This show can go from happy fun time to balling my eyes out like it's nothing.
Honestly this is the best show ever. I really bonded with everyone from the Pritchets to the Dunphys. I felt like crying when I was seeing the final episode. This show has given me hope in so many ways A BIG THANK YOU to the actors, they deserve 100% of every award they've won. I hope to see more of them in their future shows. I'm officially a DEDICATED FAN to each and every actor, following them in their continous journey.😭😭😭WE LOVE YOU MODERN FAMILY. SEE YOU SOON.
They should do a reboot in like 15 years with Luke, Alex and Hayley’s families. Also it’s a little thing but it would have been nice if they could tie up some loose ends from the pilot like it should have shown Luke finally beating Phil at basketball
As someone who isn’t close with family relatives, I can truly say this is the family I never had. Kudos to all the actors for entertaining us for 11 years ❤️
i literally got introduced to modern family, by my friend just a month ago.. binged through 4 seasons, already. this really does feel like our second family.. absolutely LOVE the characters.. A MASTERPIECE!
Man my eyes got watery watching the finale! I grew up with this show since I was 6-7 yes old, I saw Haley, Luke, Alex, and Manny grow into these amazing human beings, I saw lily and Joe grow since they were babies. I hope even greater projects come to them in the future! :)
I've lost count of the amount of times I've laughed out loud watching these guys. And it's rare for me to find things that funny. Will miss this bunch.

I just finished the final finale and the directors truly made this experience so magical with everything coming around to a full circle. Great job to Ty especially. Whenever I would go to watch this show id always say "Well I guess its time to watch the phil dunphy show".
Have been watching modern family over the past decade. From sitting on the couch at home during my college breaks to ending the series on my phone now as a married woman, it really did feel like a second family i grew up with. I cried so much at the finale episode. It’s one of those shows that’ll make anyone nostalgic of the good old days even decades later. Just like Full house feels right now
This is No doubt the best sitcom it kept the high quality throughout the entire series. Most sitcoms tend to lose the quality towards the last 3-4 seasons
This show has been my happiness through the years. Whenever I get angry at something or be sad I just randomly watched episodes from Modern Family and it immediately boosted my mood. I wish this wasn’t an ending because I already memorised all the episodes 🥺 I’m from Turkey and it’s very popular here
I've watched through tons of amazing shows, Ty burrel (phil) Looked scary at first but just something kept me watching it. I still can't get over it. I love this show, the characters, their personalities, its so realistic. Thank you for creating modern family.
For years now, I've been wanting to watch modern family. I've only ever seen clips on facebook or RU-vid. Finally got a netflix and was able to binge watch it during quarantine. It sucks that it'll end now that I'm finally one of their viewers :(

Well I am Korean. I do really love this show. I have been watching this show over and over. I almost memorize the lines of some scenes. I can't believe that modern family is gone. Seeing this show, I felt lot of feelings. It made me laugh, cry, angry, and also I was really touched. I don't think that I can forget this show. I really want to say thanks to actors for making me happy.
I thought the exact same thing. What hits me everytime is the scene in which Jay talks about how his father hopefully knew that he loved him. I always have to cry at this episode. Love from Germany :)
Gloria, Mitchell, Jay, Phil, Mrs. Dunphy and the other big one needs to have another sequel of thaf series especially Lilly which looks more interesting
I LOVE HOW THE SETS BEHIND THE BRILLIANT CAST OF STANDOUTS AND PEOPLE I LOVE are ordinary, yet in the lighting, shots and action --- they're so REAL. Kudos to the production crew of all facets - this show has made me a little bit of a better person in the last year when I discovered it for the first time -- THANK YOU ALL.
The only good thing about Modern Family is Sofia Vergara going back to being the smart woman she is in Spanish. While this show lasted, her whole Hollywood persona was a never-ending stereotype. At least, you'll be able to see her as the wise woman she is in Spanish
Are you nuts? She never played dumb, she is obviously a clever charismatic woman who also can have lots of fun... And of course she had to play up fun for public appearances, that's actors' jobs... And her character also wasn't dumb... It's your problem if you perceive her as astereotype.
the "logical" part of me wants them to leave it, since spin-offs usually end up... bad (see friends spin-off) but the other part of me wants more. this show means so much to me. i may not have not been there from the start, but i still grew with them. this show has cheered me up when i'm down, and i'm definitely going to miss it. (of course, i can still rewatch it for the 182829288282929th time lol)

omg i'm crying right now because i love this series, i grew up watching modern family, every happy moment watching episodes, this is certainly one of the best series in the world. I'm sure I'll force my future children to watch modern family
2 shows that you will definitely get attached to is modern family and friends, I just finished modern family on Netflix and it hurts that I can no longer watch it during my free time
Have been watching this show for months lately for the last few months, didn't wanted it to end but for some reason it did. Going to miss this show and the entire cast. Phil for his Phil'so sophy, Claire for her crowd handling and studdiness, Hailey for her free to life attidude and then transitioning to a loving mother, Alex for her Nerd and yet never been embaresed to her family madness, Luke for his bond to his dad. Cam and Mitch like others has been a life a for the show. Lily though did a guest entry for the show but I really liked how badass and yet loving she has been to her new family. For the pritchets Jay as always been the pillar of the show,Gloria dominating yet loving Mammy dramatic, poetic multitalented Joe and Stella. Gonna miss this and remember this show for long.
