Modern Guide to Modding Skyrim: DynDOLOD 

He's just running the vanilla game with a few mods that don't drastically alter anything that actually requires the use of TexGen, so the "DynDOLOD Resources" package covers everything.

@@fakesummer3942 I guess if you don’t need to create your own billboards then you don’t need to run texgen.

@@shaunthom Basically, since DynDOLOD Resources and Indistinguishable Vanilla Tree Billboards covers everything if you don't have a ton of mods that overhaul the appearance of the game to a huge degree. I have no idea why anyone in their right mind would want to do it this since it just makes it so you can behold the butt-ugliness of the vanilla game from much further way, though.

@@fakesummer3942 Exactly. If you’re not using a lot of landscape and flora mods what is the use in wasting your time on DynDOLOD for not much benefit. But each to their own.
