As usual, informative and useful lesson. Thank You. Since you mentioned Adam Rogers, I thought I'd let you know that he studied with the collaborator of "Linear Expressions" Tony Baruso. He studied with him during summers when he visited his dad in Los Angeles .Rogers is quoted in Pats biography "Here and Now" saying "Tony Baruso is a really great guitarist and a dedicated teacher" .

Thanks, Mikko! Some very fruitful ideas for new sounds there from an extremely underrated guitarist explained well. Simply using triad pairs harmonically instead of a line that weaves in and out really invigorates the concept for me.

Great video! I love Sid Jacobs as a player and educator. I have this book and it turns out that this is also my favourite chapter. I love your videos and really like your book suggestions. I have an ever expanding music library that has many of the books you've reviewed. Oh, BTW, there's another Sid Jacobs book with guitar arrangements of Bill Evans tunes.
