I was at this show. It was a special night for me. Came to NYC from Montreal with my newborn son and wife. Took one of the first night offs in a loooooong time to see this show (big coincidence that it lined up with my trip). It was the perfect escape from the challenges of early parenthood. I can spot myself a few times in the video having a good fucking time. That night felt great! Thanks for the memories.
I remember when I first heard them back in like 2004ish... I am turning 40 :'( I haven't gotten nowhere with my life, I got no female, no friends, no house, no kids, no money and my parents are aging. This shit gives me a little rage, something I have lost along the way.
I hope you're in a better place now. I'm in my early 30's and I felt a similar way a couple years ago. I;m trying to take my life back step by step. Enrolled back in school and learning a trade, learning another language, just taking back control. Don't worry about the females, working on yourself is your priority. Also listen to LATE BLOOMERS by these guys a lot. Stay blessed brother, God loves you and I'll pray for you.
I really miss this. Whatever THIS is. Love them. And I found some killer Bay Area stuff lately that works. Not the same. But if you have any recs I am all ears. Anyone like them? I fear not. One of my favs if not fav bands.
Have Heart can be pretty close sometimes. Some stuff by La Dispute also. A swedish hardcore band called Anchor (The Quiet Dance album maybe will suit) A brand new band in Norway called Invisible Hand. The album Wake the Dead by Comeback Kid. Probably heard some of that stuff, but hope some it helps
